chapter 1- Fate

Madeleine POV:
While drinking coffee it's bitter taste remind me of someone I used to know.
A comrade and a friend I had before.
We separate our ways since we accomplished our mission together.
Espresso...
I wonder how is he now.
I lived to a kingdom far away from my old kingdom.
I just moved here and cookies already greeted me with smiles and blessings.
Latte and Almond is here too!
Herb and Sparkling also!
A lot of cookies moved here since the past kingdom was in ruins now.
I wonder where Espresso went? Hope he's okay.
Espresso is cold towards me
I don't know why tho.
But even he's cold towards me I still treated him like a comrade even myself has some anger towards him.
Hey Madeleine! Herb approached me.
Oh hello Herb! Do you have a problem? If so, do tell me! I replied
Haha, I don't have a problem!
But you look like you have a problem? Herb told me
What? I have none! I told him I don't have problems even tho I do have a small problem
Really? He sound like he doesn't believe me.
Maybe a small problem, but no worries! I relpied
That's make me more worried but if you have a problem, you can tell me or sparkling about it! He said with pure kindness
Thanks, Herb! I replied then stood up ,waving him bye.
I was going to my house on top of a hill but suddenly I got hungry and Im lucky there is a near donut shop ahead.
While I was running towards the shop, I bumped into someone.
'Sorry for bumping into you'
It was Espresso!
He's in the same kingdom as me!
He looked at me then jumped. He run away from me looking annoyed. I was about to say sorry then he jumped and run away? I thought in my head while getting up then going in to the shop, bought donuts then got home.

Espresso POV:
After my mission with madeleine we separated ways, then got to a kingdom far away thinking I wouldn't see that idiot again. But the universe suddenly decides to play with fate with me and that idiot, and not a regular reunion, WE BUMPED INTO EACHOTHER!
I moved here because Latte was here, Latte was one of my close friends.
But Latte didn't told me that stupid Madeleine lives here too!
Now what happened we bumped to each other!
I saw his face before running away from him, he still wears that annoying eyes..beautiful ocean blue eyes.. and what...What am I saying!?!
He's just a annoying stupid idiot...
Now my donuts are dirty because of him.!
Will I wash it? Or nah..too tired. I'll just continue the experiment I'm doing.
I removed my cape and put it on one of the walls, I changed my clothes to comfortable clothes and start the experiment.

[Some time later]

I am almost done just need one mor-
I searched all around the table for that one ingredient.
I sighed not seeing the ingredient anywhere.
Maybe it fell? I asked myself
Wait..It fell while I bumped to that Madeleine, ugh he always ruins everything. I sighed once again
I looked to the clock to check what time is it.
9 pm? Something strike into my head.
I didn't slept on the past three days.
I sighed once more, knowing I will get tired sooner or later. I got up, took a cup then add some coffee.
Hmm, the bitterly smell makes me wide awake during nights.
I drank the coffee and slowly make my way to the store to buy the missing ingredient.
I brought my wallet with me and scarf just in case that Madeleine encounters me again.
While I was walking I heard laughter and talking near the store.
And of course it was the O'Great Madeleine is there chit-chatting with other cookies. I used my scarf to sorta disguise myself and bought the remaining ingredient, I was about to go out then someone grabbed my arm. I thought it was a robber or so, but oh my earthbread it was just Madeleine.
'Hey Espresso!' He said hi
I just answered with Hello
'Well you see I'm sorry for bumping into you earlier'
Apology accepted but please let go of my arm.. I told him since my arm are starting to hurt.
'Oh! I see, I will let you go now!' He did what he said then go away happily hearing my acceptance of his apology.
I looked at my arm it was redish.
God, He's strong. I thought to myself.
Then I continued to go to my house.
Made the experiment and slept a while.
I dreamed about Madeleine hugging me saying 'Hey, Darling~'
I immediately got up because of that weird dream.
I decided to go to the bar to get something to drink.
Did not thought about what happened next....
