Chapter 2 - Madeleine's house

Third Person POV:

Espresso went to go get a drink at Sparkling's juice bar.
"The drink I always order please". Espresso said to the bartender Sparkling
Commin right up! Sparkling replied.
As he wait for his drink, someone he truly get annoyed at has came to the juice bar, the same juice bar where Espresso is.. The one and only Madeleine Cookie.
Espresso just stared at him a while then looked the opposite way.
The Paradise Goodness Please! Madeleine ordered
Sure, Madeleine! Sparkling relpied to him.
Cookies noticed Madeleine then came to the juice bar to greet him.
Ugh, why would they bother greeting that idiot? Espresso thought while seeing them greeting Madeleine.
Espresso looked at Madeleine a while then he felt his heart pound a little, when he saw him smile.
The reason of his heart pounding isnt jealousy or anger it's something different. A feeling he never felt before... Is this what they call love? He thought in his mind completely out of his thinking.
When the cookies are done greeting to Madeleine they continued to go their way.
Madeleine notices Espresso three seats away from him.
He then seated the chair next to Espresso who did not notice Madeleine seating beside him.
Madeleine tapped his shoulder three times..
Espresso felt the taps then he got chills, which made him and Madeleine shocked.
Out of concern Madeleine asked 'Are you okay, friend?'
Waiting for Espresso to answer.
It was okay till you got here..
Espresso answered
'That sorta hurt but hey! Do you need something?'
Madeleine asked
Nothing in particular.
Espresso told him
'What did you get at the shop earlier?' Madeleine asked
Can you not get your nose into others business.!
Also I bought a ingredient needed for my experiment
Espresso answered annoyed
'Alright!' Madeleine relpied
Here are your drinks! Sparkling told the two cookies.
And also Espresso, the drink you wanted was out since I don't have enough ingredients so I used other ingredients instead, hope that's okay? Sparkling added
That's okay.. Espresso said it to the bartender.
Thanks! Madeleine thanked
The two cookies drank the drink.
A while has past, Madeleine talking to the other cookies and drunk Espresso still finishing his drink.
*hiccup*Why do I feel weird *hiccup*, Madeleine notices and answered 'Maybe your drunk?'
Sparkling added I almost forgot I putted alcohol to his drink, I didn't thought he's light-headed.
I thought his heavy-headed too! Madeleine and Sparkling talked to each other a little  while poor drunk Espresso is still confused why is he feeling weird.

[Time later]

It's now early in the morning
1:00 am.
Espresso is completely drunk
His mind is spinning and is confused where his house is.
Then Madeleine picked him up asking where his house is.
I *hiccup* don't know...
Drunk Espresso answered.
Madeleine thought about something quick then decide that he will bring Espresso with him.
W-where ar- *hiccup* we goin??  Lil drunk Espresso asked sober Madeleine
'My house, why?' Madeleine answered his question.
Ook*hiccup* Espresso just sayed ok.
They reached the house of Madeleine, Madeleine lift down Espresso to open the door to his house.
Espresso collapsed, luckily Madeleine caught him on time before he hit the ground.
Madeleine let him down.

'Your so weak when your drunk Espresso~' Madeleine teased

*hiccup* hmph, I'm not built like you, y'know. Espresso relpied, Madeleine giggling
By the *hiccup* wayy ,you can call Esppo or Essy, you *hiccup* can call me those..

Hehe, I want to but you might punch me if your sober if I said those nicknames.
Madeleine still continues to giggles..

W*hiccup* were aree wee againn?
Once again drunk Espresso

We're on my house, Espresso.
Madeleine answered the drunk cookie calmly.

Okeyyy
Espresso relpied Madeleine's answer.

Madeleine slowly goes in to his house Espresso following him being wobbly , entering the living room while Madeleine went to the kitchen.

His living room is just simply decorated with curtains on the windows and normal living room furnitures, the only thing fancy here, is his sword hanging on one of the walls.
Espresso look at his living room for a while then sat down at his couch.
It smelled like Madeleine..
Espresso slowly curled himself to the couch till he feels comfortable.
He slept on the Madeleine scented couch.

Madeleine walked into the living room with food on his hand.
He noticed the drunk smaller cookie asleeo but it would be a waste of food not to eat it, soooo he wake Espresso up to eat.

And of course, Espresso woke up. He woke up due to Madeleine's strong yet soft voice.

Whut? The half asleep cookie
Asks tiredly

You need to eat Espresso.
If you want to be as tall as me! AND proper sleep.
Madeleine told Espresso.

Drunk Espresso POV:

Wait..How did he know I don't get much sleep?
Did Latte told him?
Or herb did?
Should I lie about it?
Or should I-

Third Person:
'Espresso?'
That word made Espresso come back to reality.
Huh?

Remember when we were kids? Madeleine asked

I couldn't remember some of it since it been so long-

(PS: Essy and Mads is friends before like they don't get separated apart like magnet)

Remember what drove us apart?
Madeleine asked a question once again

The whole atmosphere became silent.
Espresso is still trying to remember why they drove apart before..
