On the way back,
"Y/N is not a bad hit too. She does look gorgeous too." Jungkook spoke. Jin chocked on his saliva. "Sorry, Did I mishear you?" "Don't pretend hyung. I am not the maknae without a reason. I saw how you were staring at the photo frames as if your life depended on it." Jungkook replied. "I was just looking for clues." Jin reprimanded. "What clues would you find in a solo photo of Y/N?" Jungkook asked. Jin gulped.
"Well, Back to the case. Did you mean what you said back there? Who do you think has the jewel?"Jungkook asked. Jin looked pained. "Jungkook, I thought you knew me better than that. Have you ever known me to make a false promise?" Jungkook said hurriedly, "Hyung, You have got me wrong. I know you will deliver but I thought it was a bit premature to say that he will get the jewel so soon."
Jin said thoughtfully, "My observations have never let me down. I think I have a fairly good idea of who the culprit is. But I don't wish to reveal my cards right now." On reaching their lodgings, Jin and Jungkook went to their respective rooms to mull over the day's happenings.
After some time, Jungkook heard a knock on his door. It was Jin. Jungkook was surprised to see that Jin was in disguise. He looked like a loafer.
"I am going out for a while, Jungkook. Don't wait up for me. When I come back, I think I will have the missing pieces of the puzzle regarding the Scarlet Ornament." said Jin. "Good luck, Hyung." said Jungkook. As the hours passed, being the brat he was, Jungkook found himself growing more and more impatient. He wondered what Jin was up to. He wished he had also gone along.
"What if hyung was kidnapped? He had good looks and he always kept himself healthy. If his organs were sold, they would fetch a handsome sum of money. If every organ and chemical in his body was harvested, about $45 Million could be made. If someone wants to sell a heart in the U.S., it can be purchased for about $1 million. Livers come in second, worth about $557,000 and kidneys cost about $262,000 each. Not to speak about human skin ($10/inch), stomach ($500) and eyeballs ($1,500 each). Yah! Jungkook!! Stop making useless calculations."
Jungkook grew frustrated wondering where Jin was. In the evening, Jin returned but he went out again saying that he had to tie up a few more loose ends. Night fell. Dinner time arrived but still, there was no sign of Jin. Jungkook had dinner and sat in the gaming room for some time playing Demon's Souls. But all his thoughts were on Jin and his mysterious errand.
"I am hundred percent sure. He is planning a date with Y/N Noona and had gone to make reservations in a hotel."
At last, sleep beckoned and Jungkook went to bed reluctantly.
In the morning, Jungkook went into the dining room and found Jin there calmly having breakfast. "Oh, there you are," said Jungkook. "Well, how did it go? Have you solved the mystery or were you busy making reservations for your future date?" Jin rolled his eyes and his duality popped up. He said mysteriously, "Wait and see." Jin added, "Mr. Smith will arrive shortly."
