It was night, I haven't seen my parents for a long time. Robert was still out there and he was set out for revenge. Something was going on with Emilia as well, every once in a while she would turn evil. I know her she isn't evil, I have no clue why she was like this and neither does her brothers, they are trying to figure it out. I am not worrying so much about Emilia, I am more worried about my parents. I have no clue what happened to them, I haven't seen them ever since I woke up from the coma. It was night time and everyone was asleep, except for me. I was staring at the roof thinking to myself. Emilia warned me that dating her would be dangerous, but I didn't listen to her, and now I have no clue where my parents are. Don't get me wrong, I love Emilia, I just wish that Robert would go away.
"Nock, nock," Emilia said at my door.
"Hey," I said still staring at the roof.
"I know what you were thinking about." Emilia said laying down next to me.
"I wish I knew where they were." I said looking at her.
"I know," She said staring back.
"What are you doing?" I asked her.
"Um... I am now confused." She smiled.
"What are you doing with me, why are you dating me?" I asked.
"I don't know, I could probably do better, like seriously have you seen those guys on our football team." She said jokingly.
"I'm serious, why are you with me?" I said fake slapping her on the arm.
"I don't know, maybe it's because you're cute, funny, caring, weird, crazy, and a bunch of other reasons." She said smiling at me.
"You really think that." I said.
"Of course, is it weird that right now I feel kind of like the guy in the relationship?" She joked around.
"Can you sing me song?" I asked her hoping that the song might help me get to sleep.
"Sure Erica," She joked.
She started singing true love by Pink, I don't know why but she is now listening to a lot of Pink. I wonder why. I felt myself falling asleep.
I woke up smelling eggs and bacon, the bacon over powered the smell of eggs. I didn't feel hungry though, I woke up feeling as if today was going to be a bad day. I got dressed fast and ran to get downstairs. When I got there everyone was sitting at the table talking. I sat down beside Emilia, she was just finished an argument with Max.
"So how was your sleep?" Emilia asked.
"It was fine, yours?" I said smiling, and grabbing some bacon.
"Fine, oh your toast is done," Emilia said getting up from her spot to go get the toast. I only figured out two days ago that she loved to cook, and she was good at it.
"So what where you and Max arguing about?" I asked making conversation.
"Oh, how do you feel about going back to your house?" Max said picking up the newspaper.
"Max, we talked about this," Emilia said glaring at him.
"What do you mean by go back?" I asked.
"He means go back to find clues, but it will be dangerous." Markus said getting up and going to sit on the couch.
"Sure, I would go," I said eating my bacon.
"Can I talk to you?" Emilia said putting toast on my plate.
"Sure," I said getting up and walking with her outside on the porch.
"What are you doing, you cannot go!" Emilia said crossing her arms. She was wearing a new black skirt she just bought, with a blue lacy shirt and the bracelet I gave her.
"I can go, I want to, this might be the only way I can see my parents again." I said, arguing with her.
"I don't want you to go though," I said.
"You need to learn that you can't get everything you want." I said, and instantly regretting it.
"Oh really," She said opening the door and walking over to the table, she picked up my plate and threw it out in the garbage.
"I guess you can't get the food you want," She said and stormed off.
"Oh, someone got the cold shoulder," Markus said turning around.
"I don't know what is up with her," I said picking up some left over bacon and eating it.
"I don't know either, but it's like she isn't even our Emilia anymore," Max said doing the dishes.
"I know we need to fix her," I said.
"What is wrong with you two, there is nothing wrong with Emilia," Markus said watching the TV.
"I CAN HEAR YOU," Emilia screamed from the top of the stairs.
"Oh we are now in trouble," I said.
"Ya we should leave before she comes downstairs." Markus said getting his coat and leaving.
"Ugh it's so hard to keep up with the vampire." Max said marching out the door.
"I feel so left out," I said walking over to the door, I wish I was as fast as them.
We pulled up to my house, I was kind of scared to see what was inside. I was hoping that it was my parents, and that they were ok. When I opened up the door I was correct. My parents were fine, they were sitting on the couch playing cards.
"Oh my gosh, Eric," My mom said getting up and hugging my.
"Hi mom," I said hugging her back.
"Oh great the child's back," My father said jokingly.
"Hi dad." I waved.
"Meh," He said and walked back into the kitchen. My dad was just upset because I wasn't around to do the chores so that meant he had to do them.
"Who are these people?" My mom asked.
"This is Max, and Markus, Emilia's brothers." I said introducing them.
"Hello," They both said.
"Oh Emilia the one with the red hair, oh I like her." My mom said smiling, "Come in, sit down, have a cookie."
"We can't stay for long, I just came to tell you guys that I am alright, and also I am going camping with Max and Markus so there is no need to worry." I said, we all agreed that we shouldn't tell my parents what happened and just tell them that we had to go camping.
"Oh ok," My mom said.
After that we all went back to see if Emilia was still angry at us, but when we got back she wasn't there. I was worried about her, because of her condition. I am hoping that she didn't get angry and go take it out on people that would not have been good, once Emilia is angry people should just stay clear of her until she cools off.
"Did you find her?" I asked Max when he came back.
"No, but I did find this." Max said handing me a note. It was from Emilia.
Note:
The door opened, I didn't know who it was, I thought it was you guys, I am hiding in my room, no time, must say things. I am turning evil, Robert must have done something to me and is now here to get me. The footsteps are getting louder. Eric, Eric where are you, you promised me. You promised.
That was all it said, I started to feel guilty, I did promise her that she would never be taken again, ever, and now she is. She was even hoping for me to come. I should have known that Robert must have been the one making her Evil but yet I still just pretended like nothing was wrong.
"This is all my fault," I said, "We have to go get her."
"We will, but first we have to figure out what Robert did to Emilia, just so we know what we are dealing with." Max said.
