'All right then, you come back here later to brief us, and you act as a messenger. We deliver information for you to share, and we get info from you three. You guys are ok with that, are you?'
'Yes boss.'
'See you tonight.'
He showed us out.
We arrived at the Audi.
'Woah! An Audi?'
'Yes. How did you know, Ziva?'
'Tony. He likes cars.'
'Oh, right.'
'So, who's your acquaintance at NCIS?' I asked.
Ellie and Ziva, who didn't know about the comms looked completely lost.
'Pardon? I can't hear you.'
'Sorry. Comms on.'
'Why?' Ellie asked.
'Just do it!' Estelle told them. They put on the comms and turned it on.
'So, who is your acquaintance at NCIS?' Finally, they heard me.
'Oh, you're wondering who that is. I have to say, you're one of the normal type.' Kens said.
'Who?'
'Oh. It's me.' I heard someone say casually. And I couldn't believe it if that didn't come out of her mouth.
'Really? Ziva.'
'Yes. I'm the one. We met sometime when I arrived at Tel Aviv. She helped me out. Her team was there on an op at Tel Aviv.'
'Oh. We're almost there.' Kens stopped at the traffic light directly one block away from headquarters.
When the light turned green, I too, turned green, from the horrid driving. I had to muster up all my strength not to do so and not embarrass myself.
'Here we are.'
'A shabby building?' Ellie asked in disbelief, as if she expected something more than that.
'Yes. Home sweet home.' She opened the double doors.
'Woah. This is amazing.' She breathed when saw the two-storey structure.
'This is ops on top, and this is the bullpen. It's not that messy always. Just because of those stupid jerk agents who made a mess all over the place.' Kens said.
'We have something.' Eric said from the crow's nest.
'Who are they?'
'Remember Abby Scuito, Eric?'
'Yes. Why? Her parents are deaf. She knows sign language.'
'These, are Abby's friends. From the DC office.'
'Hi! Any friends of Abby is a friend of mine.'
'Wow. The same enthusiasm! I like it!' Ziva exclaimed.
'Uh, she's Ziva, and the other is Ellie.'
'The Ziva David?!'
'Yes.' Ziva gave him a sceptical look.
Eric dashed towards her, and gave her a hug.
'What... what was that for...' Ziva said, breathing rapidly.
'Abby told me to give you a hug when I see you. She hasn't seen you. You've just landed. And from Tel Aviv.'
'Really? You just landed? From Tel Aviv to DC, and now DC to here? Wow. How's the jet lag?' I asked her.
