My eyes opened to a dim, unfamiliar room. There was a girl who was sleeping on the bed beside me. Was she the one who saved me? When I looked down at myself, I noticed my white fur as well as some bandages wrapped around my waist. I was still a cat. Does she know that I'm a hybrid? My head perked up as I watched her shift in the bed, still fast asleep. For a moment, I thought she had awoken but instead, I had been caught in her beauty as she slept in tranquility. The moonlight from her window added highlights to her skin, she's quite pretty when she's sleeping.

I glimpsed around the room, my eyes landing on my clothes on the desk, parallel to the bed. My phone lay beside my clothes and I turned back into my human form to get it. My stomach ached as I turned back, the bandages breaking off me as my size changed.

I wanted to get dressed but my clothes were all dirty and torn so I just sat at the desk chair and wrote my diary entry, not minding much about being naked in a girls room.

"Kitty?" I heard a voice say in a sleepy tone. I set down my phone and covered my bottom half a little with my tail as I looked at her.

A smile made its way to my face, an unfamiliar feeling swelling within me. "Thanks for helping me." I said calmly out of gratitude. The girl nodded and looked away, pink adorning her porcelain-like cheeks. She took a blanket from her bed and came to me, wrapping the blanket around me.

"You seem nice, do you want to be friends?" She asked with her lips curved into a welcoming smile.

She's warm. Warm like my mother was. "Sure." That was all I had to say for my life to suddenly change. My first ever friend.
