~chapter 2~

"What time are guys coming over?" I ask Johnnie and Diego as they walk over to our spot where Lance and I are standing. Every Friday we go to someone's house and play video games, film, do you nows and just spend the night. Mine and lances parents are gone this weekend so they are coming over.

"I'll be over around 4:00" Johnnie replies and Diego nods "me too"

We all walk off onto different streets that we live on, it's where we meet up in the mornings to walk to school. It's only a 3 minute walk from our house.

I take the house keys out of my hoodie pocket and unlock the front door. I throw my bookbag down in the corner and walk out into the kitchen. Lance copies my actions and comes out into the kitchen were I'm searching the fridge.

"Mandie" he starts, I know where this is going. "You wanted to tell me something"

I'm not completely sure if I want to tell him, but I will. If I tell Lance how I'm feeling he will be sure to help me, he always has.

i take an apple from the fridge and sit myself on the counter and Lance joins me. "I'm just worried" I say looking at the most interesting thing in the room, my Converse.

"Worried about?" He asks and I take a deep breath. "About Diego. He has been so upset since she died and I hate seeing him this way. The doctor said he will be normal in 1-2 months but he hasn't. It's like he's only alive on the outside. The funny, chirpy, goofy Diego is gone. I just want him back"

He puts a hand on my shoulder comforting me. "I want him to be happy too. Maybe you should talk to him tonight, he is your best friend" he says and I nod. "You and Johnnie will be here" I say. I can't talk to him about this stuff when they are here. It's gonna be hard enough alone.

"I'll tell Johnnie about this and we will make something up" he shrugs taking out his phone. I'm guessing to text Johnnie. "Thanks Lance" I smile giving him a small hug. "Your welcome Mandie"

Johnnies POV

"Johnnie come in the kitchen!!" I hear mom yell from the kitchen and I groan and roll of my bed. What does she want now?

"What?" I ask walking into the kitchen. "I was talking to Bryan's parents-" I cut her off right there. She talks to Bryan's parents?!? He's like 23. "You talk to his parents?!" I ask shocked.

"Yes I do, now let me continue. I was talking to his parents and they said you can go visit him this spring break!" She smiles and I smile too, this is amazing. I've only been to Nebraska where Bryan lives once last summer. All of the other times he came to me In LA.

"That's awesome how long will I be going for?" I ask. "You leave April 2 and you flight home is April 11. So you will have 2 days home until school starts" she says and I give her a hug. "Thank you" I smile. I can't wait to see Bryan next month.

I go back up into my room and check the time. It's 3:34 I soon have to go over to Mandies. I take my backpack out of the closet and throw some random clothes in. I also put some money, my camera and chargers in there too.

That didn't take much time so I just plop back on my bed and grab my phone. I missed a text from Lance.

Lance: hey, Mandie has been worried about Diego so she going to talk to him, alone

Me: and...

Lance: we need a excuse to leave

Me: oh okay let's say we need to go get food and peace tea

Lance: we have 4 peace teas that's enough...

Me: just drink one dummy

Lance: ouch

Johnnie: I'll be over soon ✌️

Lance: kay

I have ten minutes until I leave so I decide to go on Twitter. I scroll through some tweets and see that Bryan tweeted.

@bryanstars: can't wait to see @johnnieguilbert next month! Get excited!!

I just have to tweet back.

I click on the Katelynn girls profile just because I liked her profile picture. She was gorgeous. She has a pretty large amount of followers 14.7k I'm guessing because she's a YouTuber.

I click on the link in her bio to see what she's all about. As the screen finishes loading her newest video pops up. Woah..
