After cleaning up her kitchen from consuming dinner, she hears a faint knock on the door. Thinking its Chase, she walks out the kitchen and down the hallway to her front door. Unlocking the deadbolt and the lock she opens the door, surprised to see the person who is standing out in the hallway.
"Troy? What are you doing here?" Deagan smiles a little.
"I just wanted to come and talk," Troy smiles also.
"Umm okay," still smiling. "Come in," Deagan steps back allowing him to walk in.
"How are you?" Troy asks as he steps in, sliding his hands in his pockets.
"I've been better," shutting the door behind her. Troy is sitting down on the sectional.
"Deagan I've messed up," sliding his hand on her knee after he sits down. "I'm sorry."
"Are you only apologizing to me because you saw Chase and I in E! News the other day?" Deagan questions.
"No, I'm apologizing because I was wrong."
"Okay," Deagan sighs, running a hand through her hair.
"I miss you," Troy says. "I want to be with you again."
"Troy..."
"Please give me another shot," Troy pleads, hand still on Deagan's knee. "Deagan we are perfect for each other."
"How's that?"
"We're both attractive," Troy smiles, "We're both famous."
"You're ridiculous," Deagan laughs a little.
"What? Isn't that what you wanted when you moved here?"
"I mean yeah."
"Well, we can have that together," Troy smiles.
"I don't know, I'll have to think about it," Deagan says even though all she can think about is Chase.
After some heavy thinking, Chase gets dressed and gets a cab to Deagan's apartment. He intends to apologize for being short to her and to try and work and talk everything out, no realization that Troy is at her residence.
Taking the spare key out of his pocket, he unlocks the door, stopping in the doorway. He sees the love of his life, lip-locked with her scum of an ex-boyfriend, Troy.
"Chase?" Deagan says pulling away from Troy.
"Wow, I never thought you'd stoop to that level, but I guess I was right," Chase laughs a little. "You have changed," walking out.
Deagan sits there, Troy still beside her. Scratching her head a little and leaning back against the couch. The whole time thinking she is nothing but an idiot.
"Well, at least you don't have to deal with that now," Troy says putting his two cents in.
"Don't even start," Deagan says aggravated.
"What?" giving her a look back. "Now you don't have to deal with breaking up with him at least."
"Can you just leave?" Deagan asks sitting up.
"Seriously?" He says surprised.
"I just need to figure all this out," rubbing her temples.
"Okay fine," he sighs. "Just give me a call," he says before leaving her apartment.
