2 Years Later:

Deagan is living her dreams, living in her dream city, Los Angeles, California. Living in California for almost a year she can't ever imagine going back to Tennessee. She's been modeling for a couple of years now, doing some small shoots here and there slowly getting her name out there. In the couple months of being in California, she met her now boyfriend, star shortstop for the LA Dodgers Troy Carr at a party in downtown Hollywood. The duo is always in the celebrity news and tabloids, some saying the next Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. With her constantly being busy and half of her not wanting to, she hasn't been home for the past two years.

Her driver, Tim, is taking her to the Dodgers practice after a photo shoot for a lingerie line. Scrolling through her Twitter and listening to the radio as a particular song comes on, both voices sounding familiar. Looking up from her phone and at the radio, she can't believe what she is hearing. Her sister and Chase's voice. Tim turns the radio up when asked as Deagan hears the song come to an end. Listening to the radio host go into detail about the song, performed by an up and coming band. According to the host, their EP has been selling like crazy, their song, "Hometown Love."

"Is everything okay Miss. Peters?" Tim asks pulling Deagan out of her thoughts.

"I think that was my sister and ex-boyfriend."

"Wouldn't she tell you if she had a song on the radio?" Tim asks, he has always been like a second dad to Deagan.

"She didn't," Deagan says running a hand through her hair, getting closer to the practice field.

"Oh well maybe she forgot to," he smiles a little pulling up to the parking space.

"Thank you Tim. You can take the night off. Troy will take me home," gathering her stuff.

Getting out of her car and walking into the entrance and going to her usual spot where she usually sits waiting for their practice to end. She pulls out her phone, getting back on her social media sites not knowing Troy looks over at her from time to time. After catching up with social media, she decides to text her sister, Emma, questioning her sister about the song she heard.

"Band? New Song? When were you going to tell your own sister about it?" texting her sister and then setting the phone down in her lap.

"It's nice to hear from you too, didn't think you were that interested in what's happening at home," she gets back from her sister.

"When it involves my ex-boyfriend, yeah."

"I thought you might be more concerned about what involves your family, but Chase is a friend of the family. You dumped him, but at least we still see him," Emma texts her. She rolls her eyes with Emma's little snide comment, not texting her back as Troy is walking up the steps toward her.

"Hey baby girl," Troy says smiling, his bat bag over his shoulder.

"Hi," Deagan smiles leaning up and kissing him square on the lips.

          "Everything okay?"

"Yeah, I'm good. Ready to go?" Deagan asks sliding her phone in her back pocket. Getting into the car a few minutes later, Troy driving to Deagan's place right outside Los Angeles.
