In Eryn Lasgalen some weeks later, the wood elves were happy to welcome their lost princess home. Legolas got along with Gimli and Emersion watched Elora from afar.
Elora was dressed in a beautiful dark blue elven long silk gown with long sleeves. A silvery elvish tiara with diamonds and a silvery diamond necklace.
A man went over to Elora. "Your Grace," He greeted her, "The elves must be so happy by your return home," And Elora looked at him, "And you are?...," "Call me, North, so we can be friendly with one another," The man smiled. Elora looked at him suspiciously. "You're Livia's closet man, am I right?," And North smiled, "I am, your Grace," And Elora glanced around. "Being raised by an evil wizard couldn't have been easy," North continued, making Elora turn to him. And Elora gave a fake smile. "Middle Earth's commitment to The Light Kingdom is hallow," North continued, "If you were threatened, would they really come to your defence," And Emersion turned to watch Elora.
Elora looked up at North, "I believe that is the very definition of family and alliances," And North smiled. "Didn't Aldon raise a brave Elleth? Kidnapped by your real royal parents in Eryn Lasgalen, if I recall," And Elora looked up at him. "How was life with Aldon?," North continued, "We thought it needed a little seizing. Something to make the flavour of our attentions clear," And Elora remembered her poisoned friend some years ago. "You!...," Elora began when Emersion suddenly interfered by grabbing her hand. "Ithildin!," He interrupted, "You're missing the game!," He continued, "Gimli has had seven cups of wine! The one who can stay alert the longest wins, we must have one ourselves!," And he turned to North, "My Lord! What a pleasure of you visiting Eryn Lasgalen," "And very pleased to be here," North said. Emersion turned to Elora, "I have another game in mind for you," And he dragged her away from North.
Thranduil immediately stood up from his throne as he saw his frightened daughter. "What are you doing?," Elora asked frightened as Emersion pressed her against the wall. "Don't move, don't push me away," Emersion said, gently, "You're shaking. You can't show him you're scared," And Elora swallowed, "He threatened me here in Eryn Lasgalen. He wanted me to know that they've tried to poison me before," "He's heard things," Emersion assured her, "Livia knows you need to marry someone to take back your throne. She knows you've returned to your homeland," And Elora swallowed. "Then they're aware... That I don't have your protection here," And Emersion shook his head, "You do! You do," And Elora sighed, "There a dozens of people loyal to Livia and even more in The Light Kingdom," And Emersion smiled, "But I'm at your side. We'll show them why your need is strong," And Elora shook her head, "But it isn't!," And Emersion smiled, "Well, they'll think it is before their visit is over," And he took a step back and stretched out his hand to her. "Can you do this?," And Elora swallowed, "Absolutely," And she took his hand and walked over to her family.
