Summary: Why do we need to end when we haven't even started?

Mina doesn't know how she ended up in this situation. She just intended to have a few weeks of vacation to relieve stress from work, but now she's trying her best not to get bothered. Her sight shifts toward her hand, fingers wrapped around another girl's set of her own. The girl is animatedly talking to the person in front of them, telling stories that Mina never heard before.

"Babe, you okay?" She felt a soft tug and realizes that she's been staring at their hands for more than necessary. Mina quickly looks at the girl beside her, nods her head and smiles.

"Yes, I'm fine babe." Mina contemplates. "I'm just a bit of hungry, I think."

The girl chuckles at that and Mina swears she never found chuckling sexy before, but now- "How about we eat first?" Then they look at the girl in front of them, Mina doesn't even remember the girl's name, was it Jeo- "We'll head to the buffet now Jeong, see you around."

Jeongyeon nods and mouths a "Sure, Jihyo."

"You don't need to go with me," Mina mumbles, "I can just get some food, you know?"

"No can do." Jihyo grins at her as they walk to the buffet hand in hand. "Who lets their girlfriend eat alone? And in a wedding?" Jihyo's grin turns into a sweet smile and Mina couldn't stop herself from staring a bit. "And I'm hungry too. Come on, let's eat."

Despite Mina telling Jihyo that she can manage, the girl still won't stop worrying and assisting her. It's sweet and cute if you ask Mina. If only everything can last. No Mina, stop thinking like that.

"This is good!" Jihyo's eyes widen as she munch her food. "What is this?" She tilts her head and Mina found it so adorable. Is everything about Jihyo this adorable?

"You never tried that before?" Mina asks. "It's a traditional Japanese cuisine."

"Oh." Jihyo looks down feeling a little embarrassed. "I actually avoided every Japanese related stuff."

Mina raises a playful brow at that. "I'm Japanese."

Jihyo groans at that and Mina giggles. "I realized it was a stupid thing to do, okay?"

There's a pout on the older's face that Mina adored. Why do I adore everything about you?

A sweet melody echoed throughout the place. Guests cheered as the emcee announced that it was time for the newlyweds to dance. Mina feels a hand holding hers.

Mina has seen the newlyweds as they said their vows and declared their love for each other a few hours earlier, but seeing them again, her, Mina couldn't deny that the girl's beauty can catch everyone's eyes. They're both beautiful. She's ethereal. No wonder.

"Can I have this dance?" Mina looks at the hand being offered to her and to Jihyo, smiling with that gummy smile of hers. There's no way Mina would say no.

"I thought you'd never ask." She smiles back and Jihyo guides Mina's hands to her body. She shivers.

They moved slowly without a care in the world. They're just smiling at each other and for a moment Mina makes herself believe that Jihyo will still be hers after all of this. After this day.

"Mina?" She hums in response, waiting for Jihyo to continue. "I want to thank you. For coming today and for doing all of this. I don't know what would've happened if you weren't here."
