☂︎Chapter 4: "What the actual fuck?!"☂︎

CJ's POV:

At around 2:00 am, I woke Angel up, or at least tried... "Psst! Hey! Angel!" I yell-whispered. I did that for about 2 minutes before they FINALLY wake up. "Wh-what do you want..?!" Angel whispered with an annoyed tone. "Well.. I thought maybe we could go outside..?" I probably sounded hella sketchy, or perhaps weird. "What do you mean..?" Angel said, before moving closer to me. "I mean like.." I stopped in my tracks. "Angel..? What are you doing..?" I asked, but before I knew it, Angel moved even closer and places their head on my shoulder. "Wh-" They shushed me afterwards. "I just wanna sleep... It's literally midnight CJ..." They said tired.

"Fine.." I replied. Moments later Angel was cuddling with me. Is this really happening right now?!  I thought. Before I could wake them up again, a door slammed open from behind me. It was Vade! "What the actual fuck?! Wh-wh-what is this?!" She yelled, causing Ruby and Angel to wake up. "Shut up! Look.. I didn't do anythi-" then I got cut off. "NO YOU TOTALLY DID!" She then proceeded to enter the room.

Angel's POV: 

Awh shit. Here we go again.. I thought, better start with my act... I fake cried. "I don't know wh-what you're talking about..?!" I said, with CJ comforting me. "J-Just stop yelling please..!" As CJ holds me closer, Vade's face gets red with anger. "Vade, we broke up remember? And you don't own me.." CJ said, avoiding eye contact. "Ugh! Whatever! I'm out. I only came here because there was a lot of noise!" Vade then slammed the door. Ruby  looked at us then back at the door.  "Damn.. Well.. th-that just happened..?" Ruby proceeded to crawl back in her sheets. I wiped my fake tears. "Are you okay Angel?" CJ said looking worried. "Couldn't be better!" I silently exclaimed. He gave me a confused look. "What do you mean? You were crying a few seconds ago!" CJ then caressed my honey blond hair. "I'm fine, I was just acting!" I said without thinking. "Acting..?!" He stopped caressing my hair, in shock. "Yeah..?" I replied.

"Why though?" He asked. "I don't know, I wanted to look as innocent as could be, so Vade wouldn't beat my ass." I replied. It was dead quiet, you would only hear the wind from outside. "...Beat your ass..?" CJ looked at my face. He's about an inch away from my face.. don't panic! I thought. "Yeah..." I sighed and buried my face in CJ's chest. "I just.. Don't want that happening again.." I then remembered this once I got in a fight with her, it was very heated...

"VADE STOP!" I could hear Faith yell from behind me. I was laying on the floor, burn marks all over my body. "Don't you DARE pull that shit on me EVER AGAIN. Got it?!" Vade yelled, pissed. "Heh.. You don't fucking own me, nor my life." Things escalated after that... Hair was pulled, fire was spread around the house and of course, blood was spilled. "Oh my... I'm calling the cops!!"  Olley then proceeded to get her phone from upstairs. The cops came and arrested the both of us at first, then we both got released after an hour in there.

...End of Flashback...

I looked back at CJ, tears filling my eyes. "Is this acting too?" He asked. I shook my head. CJ then hugs me, and holds me close. "It's fine.. Crying it really normal, don't worry about it!" We then cuddled the whole night, until I calmed down that is..
