Angel's POV:

I woke up with not very good vision. "Wh-where..?" I gasped as I tried to look around. I was in a very bright area. Am I in heaven..? I thought. Suddenly, sharp pain fled through my body, and I passed out.

Flower's POV:

I knocked on the squad's door, and Olley answered. "Hello? Is Angel with you guys? Cuz last time I saw them they got carried on a stretcher-" I got cut off by her. "Yeah they got sent to the hospital.." I gasped when Olley said that. "Why?! Are they badly injured?!" I exclaimed, with terror on my face. "Well.." Vade pushed Olley out of the way. "We don't give money, we don't like charities, we don't buy raffle tickets. Especially from midgets like YOU." She said before slamming the door in my face. Damn.. That's rude. I thought. "Oh well..." I sighed and left. As I walked through the streets, I thought of how Angel probably feels. I then bumped into someone. It was Pico! "Ow shit! Oh.. Hi Pico!" I exclaimed, giving him a hug. "Hey Flower!" He returned to me.

"Say... Why where you leaving that mansion over there?" Pico asked. "Oh! Yeah, so I wanted to check on Angel.. Since they've been in-active to my texts.." I replied, while looking to the side. "Understandable. I know you miss them, even though it's only been.. what? 2 days?" Pico said, trying to lighten up the mood. "Yeah, but they ARE one of my best friends." I started to tear up a little. "Is it my fault for... being such... a terrible friend..?" I said. Pico's eyes widened. "Nonononono! Don't cry! You're not a terrible friend!" He said hugging me tighter. "You're the kindest and prettiest person I've ever met! You're my girlfriend remember?"

Tears rolled from my eyes as I couldn't say anything.

Little Author's note! Flower sometimes speaks in the Beep boop language, and especially when she's upset, So.. Yeah!

I then gasped for air, and said. "Beep baap..." Pico stopped hugging me. "It's okay! Don't feel sorry about this! It's not your fault baby.. How about we just... go home for now yeah?" Pico held my hand and walked me back home.

CJ's POV:

God. I really hate Vade now. Like how dare she hurt Angel like that?! I thought. I then looked outside, at the people having fun outside with family, friends and their pets. My thoughts got interrupted by Ruby. "Hey CJ a-are you okay..?" She said standing beside me and also looking outside. "I don't know Ruby.. I really don't know.." I said. "No, but wh-why are you staring at these p-people?" Ruby asked. I turned to her. "Again.. I don't know. Something just.." I lost track of my words. "J-Just..?" I snapped to reality. "Oh! Yeah, uh.. Something just came to me! I got to go, bye!"

I ran out of the house, to the nearest bakery. I slammed the door open. "H-Hello sir! What would you like to-" I cut the cashier off. "HIOKAYSOIT'SMYFRIENDSBIRTHDAYTODAYBUTTHEY'REINAHOSPITALRIGHTNOWSOHOWDOISURPRISETHEM?!" The cashier gave me a confused look. "Could you maybe repeat yourself and slow down..?" I took a deep breath. "Okay so.. My friend's birthday is literally today and they're in the hospital.. So.. With what should I surprise them?" I said. The cashier grinned. "Well there are a couple of things here.. Let's just start with picking the colour of the.. cupcakes?" I nodded. "Cupcakes it is!"

After that...

"Alright, that's gonna be at least 12.00$!" The cashier said. "Okay!" I said handing in the money. I then took the cupcakes. "Bye and have a great day!" I said, before leaving. "Bye!" She returned. As I walked out, I headed to the hospital where Angel was. "Okay.." I said to myself. "I just have to ask if I can enter the room.." I walked to the doors of the hospital. They slide open and I walked in. "Hello sir! Uh.. What brings you here today?" The receptionist said. "Oh.. Well, I'm here for someone!" I exclaimed. "Alright! Could you give me your name and the person you're visiting too?" The woman behind the desk said. "M'kay! I'm CJ and I'm visiting Angel today for their birthda-" I got cut off by her. "Oh yeah! That's nice of you! I'll send her nurse to guide you!" I looked confused. "'Her'? What do you mean 'her'?" I asked. "Y'know, Angel? she uses She/her and is cisgender right?" I looked the receptionist dead in the eye and said "No? They use They/them?" The receptionist then snapped. "*Sigh* Right.. whatever... Stupid LGBTQ+ thing."

"Excuse me?" I said. "Never mind." She said. "Alright. Miss Hart? Could you come to the reception. I repeat, could you come to the reception? Thank you!" After about 5 minutes, a nurse shorter than me came in. "Hello sir! I'm Amalia Hart! But you can call me Miss Hart too if you like!" She said. She had sandy brown hair with pink highlights, and, of course, had a nursing uniform on. There's this one detail that I couldn't stop thinking about, she had a pin on her chest. Not any ordinary pin though. A Lesbian one. The receptionist spoke. "Miss Hart could you please take that pin off? It's not making a good impressio-"
"Y'know what? I kinda had it with you. Could I just please get to Angel? They're probably very lonely at the moment. So I'll gladly leave your homophobic ass here." I snapped. "EXCUSE YOU?! YOU DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!" She yelled at me. "ARE YOU ALSO PART OF IT OR SOMETHING?!" I turned to face her again. "YES. I AM! NOW COULD YOU SHUT IT?!"

I left with the nurse. "Y-You know sir.. You didn't have to do that for me..!" Miss Hart said, nervously. "It's kay. I get this a lot.." I answered.
