I walked down to Stones office where Millian followed me as I went. I sighed as I entered knowing that I was in for a lecture of a life time, which was complete bullshit as they were the ones that left me all alone but whatever.
I knocked on the door, in which Stone took his precious time in answering. After a few seconds, which felt like minutes, he finally told me to come in. I walked into a very big office, with plenty of books along the walls, it was a brown and white colour theme, wtih a very big desk in the centre, in with Stone was sat at with a smile on his face. Fake smile more like. There was two sofa's on either side of the room, with chairs facing Stone's desk.
It felt like I was in the principles office or something. I sat down slowly watching his every move. Millian shut the door behind him and came into the room and stood behind Stone. Jesus it's like being scolded by batman and robin.
"Matilda, you probably know why your here", Stone said, in a buisness tone, like this was a deal or something. I just nodded slowly, more in a sarcastic manner.
"Your behaviour yesterday was extremely unacceptable, not calling and causing us so much panic and stress that we didn't need.", He started to say before Millian cut him off.
"You know how worried we were?", He said, with a face of anger. Jesus all these men are, are angry.
"No", I said with no emotion. He just stared at me like I was insane.
"Wasn't my fault you abandoned me in the middle of nowhere", I said coldly. Stone looked confused for a second which meant they didn't tell them what happened. What assholes.
"Don't lie, your brothers said you freaked out at them coming with you, when they were trying to do a good deed, and you wanted to walk home", He said confidently. I knew at this point there was a bad idea to argue, as he would never believe me and it would only anger them even more. I just looked at Millian with the most unbothered expression, because at this point I don't know why I didn't see it coming.
"Do you deny it? Do you call your brothers liars?", He said with a very serious look on his face, as if daring me to do it. I just looked at him with no emotion, I had no energy anymore, it just wasn't worth the fight. What was he going to do?
Ground me? Take my phone? I really couldn't care less.
"Your right. I prefered to instead of waiting ten more minutes in the car, to get out and walk for half an hour instead, because you know, it was just so hard for me", I said back, watching Stones expression turn into one of a smug one as I 'admitted' to making a scene, when really I just called him nieve for believing them so easily.
"Okay then, well at least you didn't try and lie about it like they said you would", He said with a smile. I just looked at him like he meant absolutely nothing to me, just a man who is obssessed with control. I think he picked up on it as the atmosphere totally changed.
"We will be having dinner tonight all together, grandpa and granny are coming down with mums siblings and some of your cousins", He said with a smile. One that I didn't like. Meaning that they didn't like me either. This was just brilliant, I was going to be surrounded by people who absolutely hated me. I just nodded a swift nod.
He realised that I wasn't going to say anything, so he coughed once more. Millian looked sad for some reason, as if it was him who had to sit around with a bunch of strangers who hasn't given a shit about you for most of your life.
"Your grounded for a week. You start school in the new semester in two weeks, so you have a chance to get your school stuff and uniform. I want good behaviour in school, and you will be punished if you skip classes. I looked at your past records and they are a mess. No more of that from now. I expect the highest you can give", He said with a smile. I didn't smile back, I just looked at him once more with an expression I had mastered.
