No One Else Would Know
You are like me; were outsiders.
In this bustling jungle of busy people living, loving, laughing, happy; we do not belong.
Their world is full of colour but the both of us, we are grey.
Would they even care if I dared to say: Follow me then, because why stay?
Why stay here, if we could run away?We could take my Pas old boat, throw our few treasures in.
Off, off and away well go, to places the eyes have never seen.
Wed go sailing on deep blue waters and maybe chance upon an island.
And at the center of this deserted place, wed make our home.
Follow me then because why should we stay?
Lets go find a place wed be happy each day!Better still, we could take to the roads and travel a wide prairie,
This world seems so large, theres got to be places no one has been!
Wed march on by day and sing and dance at night,
And under the moons white glare, our hearts wed lay bare.
Follow me then because why on earth must we stay?
Lets go find a world where we do not seem so grey.My ties are already weak, I am set to go.
And I know that when Im gone, no one else would know.
Maybe Id find my paradise but it wont be much without you,
I know very well that youre the same so why dont you come too?
Follow me then and away from here, well stray.
I dont know where were going yet but Id rather not stay.
