Chapter 13 ~

Leon ~

It was still night Violetta, and I were asleep, we rolled away from each other so our backs were touching, while I was peacefully asleep, I could hear Violetta talking in her sleep, when I turned towards her, I could hear her sniffling I put my arm around her and stroked her arm to calm her but she pushed my hand away as if she thought it was someone else.

Leon: *Strokes her arm* Baby, it's me, shh.

Violetta: *Still has her eyes closed* Please, leave me alone I hate you.

Leon: Baby, open your eyes, it's me, Violetta.

Violetta: *Opens her eyes* Leon?

Leon: *Strokes her cheek* Yeah, I'm here.

Violetta: *Cuddles up to him* I love you, please don't ever leave me.

As she fell back off to sleep on my chest, it soon turned morning, I couldn't move where she was holding me very tightly, I tried to move her head onto her pillow although when I was about to move, she moved onto me again.

Leon: *Looks down at her* Babe, let me get up, I'll make you breakfast Mm?

Violetta: *Cuddles him* Your amazing pancakes?

Leon: Mm, but to make you breakfast you must let me go, baby.

She got off me and I got up to make her breakfast, but before I left her, she grabbed my hand I leaned over her and kissed her forehead. When I walked downstairs into the kitchen, I started making breakfast for Violetta, as I was cooking the doorbell rang.

Leon: Hi, can I help you?

Guy: Yes, are you Mr Leon Vargas?

Leon: *Looks at him* Who wants to know?

Guy: I am the rent inspector, may I come in?

Leon: *Steps back* Uh, sure.

Guy: *Sits down* You have no more debts to pay either and you have enough money now your rent is paid.

Leon: *Sits down on the chair* Really? I don't have any more debts.

Guy: You fully paid but I'm sorry Leon you can only pay rent for one person and that is yourself, I'm sorry but your roommate must move out by tomorrow.

Leon: No, I can't ask her to move out, because she's still paying her rent, so it's not like she's not paying rent because she is.

Guy: *Stands up* We are deeply sorry sir, but if your girlfriend isn't out by tomorrow your rent will go up.

As he said that he got up and I walked him out, I couldn't believe this was happening I love Violetta, but I don't fancy paying more rent. I think I must ask her to move out, but how do I do that without hurting her. I carried on serving the pancakes, I then heard footsteps coming from the living room into the kitchen.

Violetta: *Puts her hands around his core* Morning my roommate/boyfriend.

Leon: *Turns to her* Hey beautiful, your breakfast is on the table.

Violetta: *Cuddles him* You know I could get used to this, *Walks to the table* who was at the door?

Leon: *Thinks of a lie* Nobody baby, just the mail carrier that's all.

Violetta: *Looks around* So, where's the mail?

Leon: *Changes the subject* How are your pancakes?

Violetta: They are so good, *Notices what's he doing* Leon, I think your lying to me, who was really at the door? Tell me?

Leon: *Sits down* Okay, I'll tell you, but don't freak out because I'm just the messenger.

Violetta: *Holds his hand* Oh my god, are you breaking up with me?

Leon: *Holds her hand* No, baby, it's just well, the rent inspector came and told me that I'm up to date on my rent and I don't have any debts to pay. *Sighs* But he told me that the rent is only paid for me, therefore you can't live with me anymore because you're not covered with the rent and you must be out by tomorrow or else, he'll raise my rent, so I won't be able to pay it. I'm sorry baby I wish this weren't happening I did stick up for you, but he wasn't having it.

She didn't say anything, she just let go of my hand and looked at her plate.

Leon: Baby, you do understand it's not me kicking you out, right?

Violetta: Oh, I must understand that I have to move out, so your precious rent doesn't go up, or are you kicking me out?

Leon: Babe, I'm not doing any of the above, I'm just telling you about the instructions on what the rent inspector said, It doesn't mean I want you to leave, it's just if my rent goes up I won't be able to pay it and not even having you living here with me will help it will make it worse and I can't have that.

Violetta: *Stands up* I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!!! WELL, DO YOU KNOW WHAT LEON? FINE, I'LL START PACKING AND I'LL GO BACK AND LIVE WITH LUDMILA MORE FRANKLY WHY DON'T WE MAKE THIS EASIER, HOW ABOUT WE BREAK UP MM? THEN WE WON'T SEE EACH OTHER EVER AGAIN IT WOULD BE LIKE WE NEVER MET. YOU GO YOUR WAY AND I'LL GO MINE THEREFORE OUR PATHS WON'T CROSS OVER EACH OTHER EVER!!!

I tried to stop her from leaving, but she walked upstairs while following her we were shouting at each other, all you could hear were shouting and screaming from the bedroom.

Leon: Baby, come on do you think this is easy for me?

Violetta: You're not even fighting Leon, so I'm guessing this was just a fling for money right, and now your precious rent is paid your just like right get rid of her.

Leon: It's not like that and you know it.

While Violetta packed her bag, she walked back downstairs with me on her tail as she walked to the door, I tried to beg her to stay, but she walked out the door and got in the taxi.

What just happened? We were having breakfast and nowthis guy has come it's ruining everything, I love her, she is the one I want tolive my life with her forever, I want her to be my wife, but I guess that'snever going to happen not now since she doesn't want our paths cross. I need tofind a way to get Violetta back to me.
