"It's done!" My girlfriend Sayaka said turning around to face me. In her hands was a beautiful flower crown made from lavender and non-specific arrowheaded leaves.
I blushed a little bit. "Thank you, it's lovely." I dragged my fingers through my hair and looked down at it. Sayaka did have a bit of a passion for arts and crafts, so it's not too surprising that she pulled together something good.
She giggled and bought her hand up to her face, "So, what did you make?"
I handed her mine, it was made from blue daisy and round mint leaves with silver ribbon to hold it together.
"Wow, it's almost as beautiful as me!" She laughed.
I smiled at her. This is nice. I'm lucky to be with someone like Sayaka, despite me apparently being a fairly attractive woman, I don't have too many experiences with dating. 5 years ago I never would have guessed that a international pop sensation would love me, or that I was in a loving relationship to begin with.
Sayaka placed my crown on my head for me and she put on hers. "Perfect, now we're matching. Yours is blue and mine is purple, just like us."
I smiled and nodded. We are perfect aren't we.
"Hey, look over at the sun, it's just beginning to set." She exclaimed and clung onto my arm.
"Wow."
This was starting to feel more and more like the romance books I used to read to try and work out how relationships work incase I was ever in one.
"I love you Sayaka."
She looked over to me with her sweet, soft smile. "I love you too Kyoko."
Sorry this is short, and I know it's cliche', but I hope you enjoyed it anyway.
I also happened to find some official art of Kyoko giving Sayaka a flower crownafter writing this 😊.
