The Uchiha's Thrall

The Reply.

Itachi had just gotten the news that the Uzumaki's had accepted their invitation it had been eight years since he had last seen Naruto and if they hadn't accepted the invite he would have probably gone back to the land of Whirlpool to make Naruto his thrall.

"You know, when you think and stare out the window like that it makes you look kind of creepy cousin." The curly haired raven said to Itachi.

"Hn." Itachi set his eyes on his cousin Shisui glaring at him.

"You know on second thought you could stare out the window again and I won't say anything" Shisui said sheepishly holding his hands up.

Itachi had grown in the last eight years, he got gotten taller, his hair longer that he kept down in a low ponytail with bangs that framed his face and his patience has run thin.

"I still don't understand why you theeathen a war against the Uzumaki's, they are outcast from the rest of us they chose to stay away." Shisui got closer to his cousin.

It had always made the Uchiha's wonder the obsession Itachi had on the Uzumaki boy especially since they had only met once.

"They have someone special I want, they've rejected every single request and invitation to meet, this was there last chance to come willingly."

Shisui looked at the vampire. 'Willingly is not threatening a war?' He gave a straight look to his cousin.

"And now that it's time to make myself a thrall I've been very patient on waiting to see him again but since they want to play dirty I'll simply take him by force." Itachi eyes were a crimson red as a smirk slowly formed on his lips.

Today was the day Naruto was to set out to the Uchiha's mansion.

Sasori's eyebrow was twitching.

"We already have to bring HIM." Sasori pointed to the Tengu sitting onto of the carriage. "Why is SAKURA coming too?!"

Sakura was smiling but her inner monster wanted to kill that wolf, she of course didn't want to come but it was at the request of Minato and she couldn't reject it.

"Now, now Sasori! I trust you and Gaara to take care of my Naruto but Kakashi and Sakura must come with you, Sakura will be of greater assistance then you know." Minato tired to convince the red head.

"Tsk. Yea right."

'Die.' Sakura and Sasori thought at the same time.

The pink haired girl and red head glared at each other.

Naruto was so excited as he watched everyone get ready for their departure, it was the first time that had been out of Uzumaki territory and the Land of Whirlpools.

"Now Naruto." Minato turned to his son.

"Promise me you will come back safely, and make sure you stick around Sasori and Gaara the whole time please, no wondering off, I MEAN IT." Minato really stressed the last part of his sentence, they decided it was a bad idea to tell Naruto of Itachi's plan and to keep him in the dark.

Who knew what would happen if they told Naruto and Naruto refused to go or better yet didn't believe them.

"Right right, I'll behave!" Naruto held out his pinky to his father and Minato locked his pinky with his son's.

"Promise!"

Naruto smiled at his father and Minato returned with a sad smile.

"Alright, let's start this trip it will be a long one." Kakashi unenthusiastically said.

Itachi has been out in the court yard with his younger brother Sasuke and his Cousin Shisui.

"Nii-chan you seem bored." Sasuke said as he poked his brothers arm.

"Hn."

Sasuke puffed out his cheeks. His brother had changed a lot in the last couple years and he hated it.

"Master Itachi." A servant appeared.

The Uchiha boys looked up.

"Young master Uzumaki has arrived on the estate with his guest, they are currently pulling up the main house now."

Itachi's face flashed red for a moment and he had a smile slowly start to form on his lips but regained his composure and nodded.

"Thank you. I'll be going now Sasuke, Shisui."

Itachi made his way inside as his servant followed.

Sasuke looked shocked, he hadn't seen his brother smile at the mention on a simple name, sure it didn't last long but Sasuke saw it.

Shisui noticed it too and smirked.

"The ball will be interesting this year Sasuke."
