You finished reading the book with a large look of shock on your face. It was a sad ending with having the Warlock rip out his own heart, but it had a large amount of meaning in it. You looked up to find Eret leaning back against the chair, running their fingers through his hair.

"What did I tell you?" You say, a large smile begins to appear on your face. She leans back to face you and looks at the book that you just finished reading.

"That's a good one aswell, surprising to find that they were by the same author." They reply, a similar smile appearing on their face.

You hear the large dark oak doors open with large amounts of force, and turn your attention to them. You see Dream walking into the library with a determined look on his face.

"Dream, are you okay?" You question. You see a small amount of relief enter his body. He walks over to you both and sits down next to you.

"I said never again." Dream said sternly. You burst out laughing before you could say anything. You heard Eret join your laughter not too long after you had started.

"I know Dream, but you could've followed me this time." You argue through your laughter.

"I'm an injured man, and do not have swiftness potions on me twenty-four seven! (24/7)" Dream differs, you and Eret are now on the floor, laughing so hard that you felt lightheaded. That was before you felt who you assumed was Dream, pick you up and sit you down across from him. "I just need a compass on you or something."

"Yeah, you do, then you wouldn't panic when I head into the castle." You agree with a complaint. You heard Eret pick themselves up and sit back down across from you.

"Everything bad that has happened to you was inside this castle!" Dream bickered. You had the brightest idea if you didn't think you were safe in the castle.

"So you don't trust this castle's safety?" You question, needing confirmation of your theory.

"Forgive me Eret, but yes. Absolutely." Dream announced to you and Eret, who nearly burst out laughing.

"So then you don't trust Sapnap." You say, and run out of the library as fast as you could before either of them could respond.

"Sap! I have news!" You yell, looking around for your mischievous friend. You saw him talking to Wilbur and approached him with energy. Sapnap turned around at the sound of his name.

"What news?" Sapnap questioned. Wilbur turned his attention to you once he saw you.

"Dream doesn't trust you to protect me. He told me and Eret in the library." You answer, a slight grin appearing on your face.

"Alright, we're going to play hide and seek again, you up for it Wil?" Sapnap commanded. Your grin had grown to a mischievous smile. You saw similar ones appear on your friends' faces.

"I know where we can go." Wilbur suggested. You both followed him back the way you came into the library.

You were trying not to make noise when you heard Dream walking around quietly. You found a large wall that would keep you out of sight of the approaching footsteps. You all quietly pushed your backs against the wall and became a stone brick statue. You saw the man with the green hoodie walk past through the set of dark oak doors that the wall supported. You waited until his footsteps were barely in earshot before entering the doors.

The doors allowed you to get through a thin hallway that you didn't know about. Passing through the now torch-lit hallway, Wilbur pushed open an oak door to reveal that you were in the library once again.

"How did you know about this? Not even I did." Sapnap muttered as you began to observe your new surroundings.

"One word: Fundy." Wilbur whispered back as you began to sit down on the orange carpet.

"That makes sense, the kid's smart enough to find out anything." Sapnap replied. You nodded as well, knowing that Fundy was far too smart for his age.

You all sat in silence for what was probably only thirty (30) minutes when it felt like thirty (30) hours when you heard someone enter the library once again.

The door shut with a loud bang, and you felt goosebumps on your skin. The footsteps of them echoed through the shelves. Hearing them start to look through the shelves, you figured it was either your father looking for a book, or Dream who was simply looking for you.

You, Wilbur, and Sapnap were all pressed up together in the furthest corner of the library -- right next to the door you had entered from. Sapnap was, at that very moment, trying his hardest to wake Wilbur up. If Wilbur got caught, you both knew that he would assist Dream in helping him.

Dream's footsteps were getting much closer now, though. Wilbur still wasn't awake, and Sapnap began shaking the brown-haired man much more frantically.

"Wilbur!" He whispered, obvious fear within his voice. "Wilbur, get up." Wilbur snored once, and fell back against the carpeted floor. "Come on." Sapnap groaned, glaring down at your unconscious brother.

"C'mon, Sapnap.. He's a lost cause." You informed your tan friend quietly, standing up and heading to the door. "Besides, I have a place in mind." He stood up and nodded slowly, shouldering open the door as quietly as possible.

Dream was closer now. You could hear him.

"Lead the way," Sapnap stated, holding the door for you. You nodded, afraid of even breathing too loudly, and stepped past him into the narrow hallway.
