16 year old Kasani's leg bounced up and down as he listened to his geometry teacher go over the lesson of the week

" this class bout boring as shit " he thought to hisself looking around the classroom

" does anyone know the answer to question 3?" She asked pointing to the question with her red expo marker

nobody raised their hands

Kasani knew the answer to the question but he choose not to raise his hand

" come on guys I would hate to just have to call on someone" she said looking around the classroom

" - 3 " the boy said and she nodded

" KJ answer question 4" she said seeing that Kasani was now zoned out staring at the wall

Kasani snapped out of his trance and looked at his teacher

" ion know that shit " he thought looking at the board

A soft knock was heard through the teacher

" you got lucky" his teacher said as a girl walked in the class

" you must be... Kehlani King" the teacher said trying to remember the name of her new student

" she the police" Kasani thought looking over at the brown skin girl that has on a honey brown wig, a black shirt that had words that you couldn't read since her hair was covering it, a grey skirt that looked like it had black lines and white shoes with a little bit of red

" damn I'm staring" he thought looking away

" yes, but I go by Kay" she said and the teacher nodded

She sat at a open desk beside a girl

" somebody sit right hea' " the girl said mugging her

" sorry" Kay said getting out of the seat

" unt un mug her ass back the fuck" a girl in the class said

" you can sit there beside KJ, raise your hand" the teacher said and Kasani slightly raised his hand

Kehlani went and put her book bag on the back of the seat and sat her mint green water bottle on the desk before talking at seat next to him

" where was I... KJ answer question 4"
