He can tell that you're nervous so he's super soft and slow. He's a bit uncomfortable touching you, but gets more confident as the old music starts playing.
You're stumbling a bit so you kick off your shoes. He eyes you for a minute before also knocking his off.
He would start having trouble holding in his laughter as you both dance, he doesn't want to hurt your feelings but you're not very good and he thinks it's adorable.
"Here, just stand on my toes."
"What? No, I want you to teach me properly."
"Well, you're already spending most of this on my toes so it might as well be intentional."
You'd smack him teasingly on his metal shoulder. He grins but lifts you up slightly by your waist and hugs you to himself as you put your feet on his and wrap your arms around his back.
He rests his chin on your head.
"See? That's better." You feel a kiss on the top of your head and smile into his chest.
It's definitely not bad to be this close...
