"Just ask him out already!" Karasu pushed Kaeya a bit, "Not happening," Kaeya sighed while he walked along side Karasu with his hands in his pockets.
"You do want to be with him don't you?" Karasu asked while skipping in front of Kaeya then began walking backwards while in front of him.
"Of course I do," Kaeya replied, "Then ask him out! It's not that hard." Karasu sighed.

"You don't understand Karasu.." Kaeya pushed Karasu slightly and walked ahead of her. Karasu stopped walking and turned to face Kaeya who hasn't noticed she wasn't following.
She bit her lip then started running toward Kaeya again.

"Want to go get some coffee? It's freezing, I could use a hot drink." Karasu said while walking along side Kaeya. "No, I'd rather just go home." Kaeya replied.
"Come on! You never hang out with me." Karasu whined. Kaeya groaned then agreed to get some coffee with her.

-
After getting coffee, it was about sunset now.

"Be safe," Kaeya said while waving by to his dear friend Karasu, she nodded and walked away. He sighed from exhaustion and gripped the bag that had a small piece of sweet cake in it, Karasu had bought it for him hit he didn't intend on eating it.

Kaeya started walking back home.
He heard the waves splash against the shore while he was walking home, he wasn't very fond of the smell that came with the ocean but there's nothing he could do about it.

Kaeya stopped at a street light when he saw a boy with blonde hair leaning against a fence looking over the waves.

Albedo?
Kaeya got a little surprised, this is one of the last places he would think to find Albedo.

Albedo was Kaeya's high school crush, he had never talked to him but..he admired him from afar. He always looked so handsome, though he did look like he had been tired of his existence. Kaeya knew enough about what that looked like from his father.

Kaeya walked across the street to Albedo, he got a bit nervous when Albedo looked at him.
"Um—Albedo, right?" Kaeya knew exactly who he was, he just didn't know how to start a conversation with him. "Correct, and you?" Albedo asked with not a sign of any expression. Kaeya felt kinda offended that Albedo didn't know him but, no one really did.

"Im Kaeya, we have two classes together; gym and science." Kaeya said. "I've never seen you before." Albedo replied.
"Oh—well..that's fine. Hey, I have some food if your hungry." Kaeya held up the bag with the sweet cake in it.

"Im not hungry," Albedo said while staring at the bag, Kaeya lowered the bag and laughed a little because of how uncomfortable he is.
"Well you don't have to have it." Kaeya said, trying not to sound rude.

Albedo looked at him, "You're..serious? You aren't just joking?" Albedo had a little bit of a surprised expression on his face, "Why would I be joking about giving you food? Do you want it? I'll be happy to give it to you." Kaeya held it up again, "It's all yours." Kaeya then added.

Albedo gently grabbed the bag by the handle, Kaeya blushed when he felt Albedos finger slightly hit his in the process.
"Thank you." Albedo tried not to make eye contact.
"No need to thank me," Kaeya reassured him.

"I thought you were asking me if I wanted this as a joke, that's why I didn't take it at first. I'm sorry." Albedo apologized.

"No, no, it's fine! I totally get it, you don't need to apologize." Kaeya waved his hands in a 'no' type motion.

Albedo nodded. He then walked away. Kaeya wanted to talk to him more, but that would just make things seem weird if he just stopped Albedo from going home to talk to him more.

Kaeya went home.

Yes I know this was short, it's kinda just like an introduction of the characters type chapter. I think it'll be fun to write. Might be based off a little bit of Beastars and a little bit of Stranger By The Shore hah -Author
