Albedo stared at Kaeya with wide eyes and ran to hug him, Kaeya was too shocked to do anything.
"I can't believe it's you.." Albedo muttered."I..I can't believe it's you!" Kaeya said back, "I thought I'd never see you again.." Albedo said and let go of the hug.
"Why are you..why are you in the city?" Albedo asked while he took off his gloves.
"Oh, my roommate sent me out to get some things..and I just ended up at your concert I guess," Kaeya replied."Ah, makes sense." Albedo placed his gloves on his table.
"I never thought you'd become a singer, you were always so—" Albedo finished his sentence, "Shy? Boring?" Kaeya panicked a bit; "No, no! That wasn't what I was going to say!", Albedo laughed. "I'm just joking.." he said."I'm sorry you had to stop your show because of me, please forgive me." Kaeya apologized, "It's fine, I wasn't excited to do it anyway..it's just annoying when I can't hear myself over the cheering." Albedo said.
"Would you like to get some coffee? After the concert I mean." Albedo looked at Kaeya with a slight smile. "Oh, yeah..sure," Kaeya answered looking away with a small blush.
"Great, for now, you can stay behind the stage, or just watch from a distance." Albedo stretched his arms and yawned. While walking back on stage he put a hand on Kaeya's shoulder and glanced at him with a smile.
Albedo then got on stage and apologized to the crowd.
Kaeya heard as Albedo restarted his song. He didn't sound like he enjoyed singing but he did a good job hiding it.
Kaeya looked at one of the security guards, "How long does this last?" He asked, "About an hour, Albedo hasn't made many songs so it should be about an hour." He replied, "Right." Kaeya sighed.—
An hour later
—Albedo came backstage, he looked tired. "Have a good time?" Kaeya asked with a bit of a joking tone. "Guess you could say that." He yawned, "Let's go get coffee now." Albedo said while grabbing a hoodie and putting it on and putting on different shoes. Since he was basically wearing heels.
Albedo looked at Kaeya, "Come on," Albedo began walking and Kaeya followed him.
—
"So, how long have you been uh..singing and stuff." Kaeya asked, "Only a year." Albedo answered.
"Mm." Kaeya nodded.
"Have you been in the city before?" Albedo asked, "A few years ago, had to go there for some meeting." Kaeya replied, "Oh? What meeting?" Albedo looked at him curiously. "Just a business meeting..I quit that job though." Kaeya blushed a bit.Albedo opened the door to the coffee shop and went in with Kaeya. They both order a coffee then sat down at a table near the window.
"Remember the day you left?" Kaeya asked staring at his coffee, "Vividly." Albedo replied looking out the window.
"You said you were leaving to do something you loved, but it doesn't sound like you really loved singing..yknow?" Kaeya looked up at Albedo, Albedo sighed.
"I thought I loved it but.." Albedo laughed a little while he looked at Kaeya, "Guess singing was just something that I was suppose to do in the shower.".Kaeya let out a small laugh and smiled.
Kaeya picked up his coffee and started drinking it, "I love you, Kaeya." Albedo suddenly blurted.
Kaeya immediately put his coffee back down and started coughing because he accidentally choked on some of it."W—" Kaeya coughed one more time, "What?" Kaeya stared at Albedo with wide eyes.
"I love you, didn't you hear me? You seemed to have a reaction when I said it so you must've heard it." Albedo didn't look a bit dazed."..You're crazy." Kaeya sighed and took an actual drink of his coffee. Albedo smiled, "You can't just say you love someone Albedo. I could be a whole different person—yknow I could even be a murderer!" Kaeya said, "Murderer or not, I know I love you.", "Red is the color of love isn't it?" Albedo said.
"That's not the point," Kaeya groaned.
"You need to think before you love decide you someone." Kaeya looked down at his coffee and rubbed his finger against the cup."I've had plenty of years to think if I love you. I'm a full grown adult now Kaeya, not a high schooler. I know what falling in love feels like now." Albedo frowned a bit.
"I know that, but what if I didn't love you?" Kaeya looked out the window while speaking.
"Well, you did in high school. I always saw you staring at me." Albedo gently laughed.
Kaeya blushed, "But I'm a full grown adult now too, I could be in a relationship right now! You wouldn't know." Kaeya said.
"You do have a point there." Albedo muttered.
"But I know you're not," Albedo added.
"How do you know?" Kaeya looked at Albedo.
Albedo looked at him with a judgmental look.
"Yeah, okay, fuck you." Kaeya continued to blush.
Albedo smiled.
