I ran upstairs in the room, seeing Aoi just staring at the laptop watching a video. Her blue hair was the first thing I saw before she turned around glaring at me. She had a eyepatch on her left eye.

"Hi...I'm Daishi"

She seemed annoyed.

"Yeah, I know. You gonna sit the hell down or what?"

I sat down.

"I don't really do this kind of thing, we usually leave it to Akane or Kuroko."

"Then why the hell am I here? Why'd you even offer?"

She started to blush.

"I've admired you for awhile. I gotta say, for a former delinquent you made one hell of a reputation here at Akademi. Even Megami wants you on our team. We knew you were too good for those dirty delinquents. I like how you did things differently from the others when you were there. I'd be lying if I said I didn't hope you would come join us."

"R-Really?"

She nodded her head.

I smiled and that seemed to have made her blush more...I hope she wasn't crushing on me...Lime would never let me live it down.

Lime actually happened to be walking past the room, but she stopped to listen.

"I would love to be on your guys' team. I feel like I could make a bit of a difference with new students coming in and probably wanting to be like the delinquents. I don't want people going down the wrong path you know?"

"Wrong path? Is she serious?" Lime whispered.

"I completely get that, trust me...But seriously, you already got my vote."

She started to blush and looked down, beginning to clear her throat.

"Well, we can wrap this up now, I think seeing your grades and attitude convinced me enough that this is where you belong. Uh, how does your girl feel about it?"

Lime listened in closely.

"She doesn't like the idea rightfully so" I sighed.

Aoi looked at me, still listening for what I had to say.

"But I don't think she trusts me...I get why 'cause she's been hurt enough. But I want her to get that I'm not like that. Her eyeballs damn near popped out of her head when she saw Shiromi and I talking, I haven't seen her like that ever. I don't know if there's a secret vendetta or what but, I don't want to be in the middle of it. She's the first person I've ever been with. I might be looking too much into this, I don't know."

Aoi nodded understandably.

"Did you guys talk about it? One thing I know about delinquents is all of their stories are unique, and those stories have to do with why they are the way they are now."

"We almost had a full on brawl outside Aoi. She told me a bit about her story before she became Lime Streak, and I know she's been hurt by so many people. I just don't want her to see me as people."

Lime walked away. Seeming kind of sad.

"I know you care about her a whole lot Daishi, but you can't fix a broken person. You might get lucky a few times in life with that but many of the time, it won't work. And being though she's your first relationship, I hate to tell you but, a lot of first relationships don't work."

"Are you telling me what I think you're telling me?"

Aoi nodded.

"While you've done nothing for her to not trust you, there will forever be something in the back of her mind that you will do something. That's how a delinquent thinks, always have their guard up no matter who or what it is. It's not your issue to try to fix Dai. She probably already feels betrayed you're becoming a student council member. And even though I'm sure you told her nothing would change, we know it will, 'cause delinquents and student council members don't have the kindest history."
