You stared at the blank ceiling as you lied on your bed, re-thinking your life.
You sighed and rolled over in your bed, grabbing your phone to check the time, 4:15 A.M.
There was no point in sleeping, I mean hell, you couldn't even sleep anyway, so you got up and put on some tight geans along with a (f/c) hoodie. You grabbed your phone, earbuds and skateboard to explore the new place a little bit.
You've just recently moved to Japan, Miyagi specifically, with your dad since he got a really good job there. You were happy that you were to living in Japan but you already miss America, I mean that is where you grew up in the first place.
Putting all that aside, you sneakily exited the apartment you and your dad shared and walked down the flight of stairs.
Finally getting down, you realized how lucky you were to have such smooth pavement, considering you lived in the country. Back in America you had to walk over to a park to skate because the roads were so bumpy.
You set off to find the nearest gas station to get some snacks and stuff.
Skating had always been something you loved, it would calm you down when you were stressed, it was just enjoyable in all.
Finding a small gas station that was open, it was pretty vacant, besides the cashier who was actually really surprised and slightly concerned to see a teenager just walk in at 4 in the morning, I mean who wouldn't be?
Going to the back where the fridge was, you scanned the fridge for any monsters, you cried in joy when you finally found a shelf of them.
You opened the fridge and grabbed the white one, also snatching a box of strawberry Pocky on your way to the cashier.
One you got to the cashier desk thingy, he ringed your stuff and put it in a bag, which wasn't necessary but who am I to judge.
You left the gas station and set off to do more exploring. Plugging in your earbuds you opened your Spotify and played some music from your playlist.
Deciding to sit down and eat your snacks, you picked a spot under a tree. You noticed the sun beginning to rise, it was 5 am now, but you didn't worry, your dad didn't wake up until 9.
You took a picture of the sunrise, posting it on Instagram.
