It's been a week since you moved here, and you were back at the beginning, staring at the ceiling and contemplating life.
You looked over at the time and it was 10:13 pm.

Once again, you got up, slipped a hoodie on and grabbed your skateboard.
You exited the house to ride around the place for a little bit.

You walked into the frequently visited gas station and immediately walked into the snack isle, completely missing the boy in the same isle.

You were looking for your usual box of strawberry pocky until you heard a voice next to you,

"Hey, nice board."

You perked up and turned to the side to peek at the voice. You saw a red head (who also had a skateboard) with bad posture and bags under his eyes, immediately your gaymer radar was going off.

You took a peek at his board and saw a ton of manga pages glued on it, some you recognized as (f/m).

"Woah! You read (f/m) too!?" You exclaimed enthusiastically.

The red head looked just as happy as you were when you said that, "of course I do, how could I not." He laughed.

You giggled, "besides that, I didn't expect to see someone here at this time."

"Yeah same, usually it's kinda empty here..." he trailed, "hey, what's your name?"

"Ah, it's (L/n) (Y/n) and you are...?"

"Tendou Satori, nice to meetcha"

Just by the looks of this guy, he immediately started setting off your gaymer radar.

You two ended up skating together for a while, and it turns out you both had a lot in common.
You both played volleyball and video games, you also like skating, anime, food, etc.

You thought it was funny how you met two people who played volleyball and they were the only ones you talked to for more than a minute in Japan.

I guess japan had a lot of volleyball freaks, huh.

"So wait, which school are you going to?" Tendou asked.

You thought for a bit, "uhh, I think my dad said something about Kara- something..."

"Oh! Karasuno?"

You nodded, "yeah! That's it."

He pouted, looking very disappointed, " damn, I wish you would go to my school. Our volleyball team could use a manager who knows their stuff!"

"I think I might actually join the girls team. I kinda miss playing volleyball..." you said while looking at the moon.
You didn't know what it was, but every time you saw the moon it made you a little home sick. Probably because it reminded you of when you used to sneak out at night with your best friend and walk around the city.

Your thoughts were cut short by a yawn, the redhead beside you dozing off.

You giggled a little before slightly nudging his shoulder, "if you were so tired you could have told me, i would have called it a night."

He shot up from his slouching position, eyes widening.
"Nope im definitely awake."

"Sure you are" you deadpanned, getting up and grabbing your skateboard next to you, "i guess this is where i leave, see ya!"

tendou, who was half asleep, waved back at you.

you giggled before making your journey home, appreciating the atmosphere of the small town.
