Chapter 1

Shizuo's POV

Instead of waking up on my couch, I woke up in an unknown alley of Ikeuburo. I sat up scaning my surroundings thinking back to what happened last night.

~ Flash Back ~

I was walking to the bar with Tom, we had just finished work. We were a block away from the bar till I smelled something familiar, I looked around and saw him. The one and only Izaya Orihara, but this time something was different when he noticed me staring at him, he put his head down and started walking away. Questions quickly roamed through my head: What was wrong with him? Why didn't he tease me like he usually would? Why was I so worried about the flea right now? I shook my head and continued walking to the bar with Tom.

- 2 hours later -

By then I was completely wasted, girls were surrounded by me giggling and trying to get my attention until I smelled the flea again. I got up obviously wobbly walking towards the door. The girls started complaining, and Tom asked were I was heading. I went outside only to see Izaya, a threatening glare in his eyes as he looked up at me. "T-This!..." he yelled pointing to the top of his head were a pair of black furry ears were, twitching in annoyance. Then pointing at the tail that swayed furiously behind him. "This... Is all your fault!" He yelled the walked away leaving me clueless . I started to follow behind him, which led him to running. He continued to run faster and faster, until I lost him...

~ Present ~

I let out a groan as I rubbed my head, everything was bright, loud, annoying and that wasn't the worse thing I could literally smell everything in Ikeuburo. I eventually got up stretching though I was dizzy and leaned against the alley wall till I was fine. When I realized that every noise was making my head pound I decided to make my way to Shinra's house.

- Time Skip -

Three hours later I made it to Shinra's place, my head feeling like it was ready to explode. After I knocked on the door, a few seconds later Shinra opened it, letting out a depressed sigh. "Yes Shizuo?" He asked a tint of annoyance in his voice. I let out a groan and covered my ears, that was unusual... my hair wasn't usually this soft. Eventually Shinra let me in and told me to sit on his couch till he found some stress releavers. After a couple of minutes he came back giving me the pills, then sat next to me. Well....this couldn't get anymore awkward. "Um..Shizuo..may I ask you a question" Shinra said his voice low. I leaned my head against the couch and 'hm' in response. "How do you feel?" The scientist asked me. "Like crap, my head hurts, I can literally smell everything in Ikeuburo an-" I was cut off when Shinra put a mirror infront off me letting me get a look at myself. On my head was two fluffy blonde ears slumped down. "Come with me" he mumbled, I got up and followed him to a full-body mirror. I looked down only to see a tail. I only gulped in response. "Y-You didn't do this did you?" I asked, Shinra put his hands up in defense "I have no part in this, inface Izaya has been having the same problem as you. He even came by yesterday asking for a 'cure'. Unfortunately he left here empty handed. Maybe the two of you ca-" I cut Shinra off with a firm "No" as I made my way to the door "Thanks for the pills" I said before walking out. 'Tch..like hell I would ever work to solve a problem with that flea' I walked around Ikeuburo, calling Tom letting him know I wasn't going to work today, then heading to my apartment to rest. 'Maybe after some rest this'll be gone'
