It was well into the second week of Raina's disappearance. We've been working hard with the help of the Spade's. We've all become close due to knowing and wanting to help Raina. We broke off into twos Adrian and Kyro, Violeta and Lenard, Ramona and Antonio are working from afar while watching over Luce. Armani and Russ were searching on foot. As for Alejandro, he's with me sadly.
Don't get me wrong he's very good looking. We've only been alone together a handful of times. He's tried to get me to go out with him countless times but I always say no. It's not that I don't want to try it's the fact that the mafia isn't any place for me. The cherry on top is the fact that my cousin is missing and I don't know if it's in connection with them.
"Come on sweet face. Just one date and I'll shut up." I pretended to think about it as his eyes lit up.
"Well since you said you'd shut up..." He smirks as I place my hand on his face.
"No." His smile drops quickly as I go back to the computer.
"Come on! Just one I'm not that bad of a guy." I gave him a bored look as he chuckles.
"You say not that bad. So you're pretty bad." He sucks his teeth making me laugh.
"Is it wrong to want to take a gorgeous girl out? Unless you've got a boyfriend then I can understand Tesoro." I don't know why but the nicknames were doing something to me.
"I'm more worried about Raina then a date." He nods, understanding where I'm coming from.
"I won't give up so easily." I chuckle as I shake my head. He was lightening up my mood little by little.
Alejandro went to speak to me until we heard an ear piercing screech from downstairs. It's been like this for a while since Adrian and Kyro were trying to get information out of that girl downstairs. I wanted to do my own type of torture to her because my gut is telling me she's the reason my cousin is gone. I sigh and place my head on the desk.
"Don't stress so much, you're hair will fall out. We got the best men on the job as well." I felt my eyes begin to water but I didn't want to cry in front of him.
"Yeah but she's alone and probably scared." Raina doesn't show fear often but I can only assume that's how she's feeling now.
"This is Raina we're talking about. An ex spy and a kick ass mom. She's definitely giving them hell in there." This made me smile just knowing how strong she is.
I went to say something as Julio walked into the office and lays across the couch with a huff. He looked absolutely exhausted and I can't blame him with the way we're working. Alejandro snickers at him before leaning back in the chair.
