How was school?
It was school.
Have you made any friends?
Not really.
Do you participate in class?
Nope. Why would I do that?
Did you learn anything new today?
People are stupid.
Is something wrong at school?
It's school.
You do know you're not supposed to sleep in class, right?
Yep.

A lone girl sat on the swing-set of her school's playground, gently swaying to and fro as she read "How to Cook Good Food! For Dummies."
She felt quite proud of herself for being the only one in 2nd grade able to read a book that big.
Her hair fought the flow of autumn leaves, blue hues glowing amongst her raven locks. Two thick, horn-like strands of hair protruded from her scalp, the girl standing out like a sore thumb amongst the average looking children playing around her. Well, compared to most of the class. She looked quite normal compared to the boy with wings and the kid with long fingers.
"They just look stupid." Zeny Rose mused as she glanced across the yard to the boys in mind, cerulean irises glimmering as she glared at Tsubasa and his twin extra.
They were a part of the group always talking about heroes, playing heroes, and being heroes. After the fifteenth rant on how great All Might is, they got real annoying. Zeny liked to think she was smart for her age, and with that line of thought, she believed they didn't really understand what being a hero truly meant.
Her eyes shifted to the defeated boy lying on the ground, his mop of dark green hair sprawled against the sand. Zeny hadn't even realized she was standing until a teacher arrived to break up the spat. . .
She left it at that.

If you keep going, I-I-I'll never forgive you!
Even though you're quirkless. . . you're pretending to be a Hero, Deku?
—
I want to be a Hero. . .
You should probably give it up.

A lone boy found himself sitting on a bench just outside of his school, scribbling away in a notebook, "Hero Analysis for the Future No. 1" etched onto the cover. The first pages were dedicated to All Might, the Number One Hero and the Symbol of Peace.
