i sighed as i woke up, checking my phone and realising the group chat was going off. it had been two weeks since mason and i had broken up and i was heartbroken and numb. this whole thing was so fucked but i knew this was what was best for mason and i. he'd been blowing up my phone, though and he was clearly upset.
i got upstairs, getting ready to get to St. George's. today was the arrivals for the boys as i was going back to work. the players were gonna arrive again because they had qualifiers. going to Budapest in two days. i was quite nervous for everyone to turn up, especially mason. we hadn't seen each other or even spoke so it would inevitably be awkward to see each other again.
