New Transfer Student! (Hima Ark 1.)

Mikoto POV

"Everyone today we have a new student. Her level has been evaluated and she is also Tokiwadai's newest level 5! I expect you to treat her well" I heard our homeroom teacher announce while I had my head propped up by hand barley listening . 'Ever since Himawari introduced herself  Kuroko has been rambling questions to me everyday it's becoming a total drag. I'm happy she is still alive of course. I thought she was a ghost or something when she walked by us in the cafe'.

"Ohayoo! My name is Himawari Hatake!" I heard a voice very familiar shout. I immediately jolted upwards into my seat and saw Himawari at the front of the class. 'No way this is happening'

"Himawari take a seat next to Misaka-san"

Himawari sat down in the empty seat next to me. "Hewooo Miko-chan long time no see I guess" she giggled 

"H-Himawari why are you here?" 'Why am I stuttering?" I blushed

"I asked my legal guardian if I could go to your school and they said I could so now we can be classmates again" she grinned wildly at me

'This is gonna be a long day'

During lunch a lot of girls approached her. A lot of them asking what school she came from and what her esper powers were. One thing that people don't know is that Himawari is not from this world originally. I can't even tell
My friends this because it's really hard to explain. She has long beautiful white hair
(A/N: she changed the color to black to not stand out) like a princess because of a sibling from the world she came from. She named one of her techniques after them is what she told me. I of course did not believe her at first, but it makes sense in the long run. Her esper powers can't really be explained by science. That's why she was allowed to stay a free person after the crimes she committed for "research purposes".

I'm determined to help her change the course of her life. "Hima... do you want to eat lunch with me?" I asked her. She grinned before standing up and grabbing my hand "it's about time you asked me Miko!"

"Hima we're not allowed to be on the roof"

"Don't worry I got permission from the teachers"

"Did you threaten them?"

"No?"

"Hima?"

"Yes"

"Why are you dumping all that honey on your food?"

"Because it's too sour!"

"..."

"Hima, why did you protect Uihara and Saten even though you hate low levels?" I had to ask because a few years ago she would have never done this. She looked up from her boxed lunch while pouring more honey and frowned. "Miko. Don't ask me stupid questions. I obviously didn't protect your useless subordinates, by chance my lightning hit one of the falling rocks." She continued on after taking another bite of her sandwich drenched in honey "A level 0 is just useless in society she should just move out of academy city for all I care"

I scrunched my face up in anger "Himawari. Don't call her useless just because your a higher level then her. I hate that attitude of yours". I scoffed

Himawari tilted her head in confusion "Miko why do you even hang around them. I don't understand what you see in them other then that Kuroko girl"

I sighed "Hima eventually you'll see that you can't just judge people by numbers". I got up and started to walk away from her but I stopped when she spoke to me again

"You say that, but doesn't everyone judge you by numbers? Everyone wants to meet you, speak to you, and look up to you because of a number. Or am I wrong?" She questioned smirking "T-That's not the-" I stammered out before cut me off "Would Kuroko, Saten or Uihara even care if you weren't a level 5 Miko?"

"Our entire society is based on numbers Miko. If you have a problem with it ask the academy city director to stop labeling people with esper powers. Instead of them looking up to you I look down upon them. The difference is very minuscule if you want to honest".
"Until then-" she paused Violet colored sparks emitting around her and she flashed over to me before I could even blink. "Worry about yourself Miko" she whispered into my ear. My face flushed red and I flinched backwards. "W-W-W-What are you doing" I stuttered she looked at my face and she blushed while looking at me

"Miko I transferred here to warn you. There are some dangerous people that are messing with things that they shouldn't be in the shadows. So stay safe k bestie" "wait what do yo-" "gotta go now, but remember what I said Miko" a huge flash of lighting that envelopes her she disappeared
