Isabella 'Bella' Swan was sitting with her new friends, as a group of incredibly attractive group of people walked in. "Who're they?"
Jessica Stanely looked up and saw the group, "The Cullens. The blonde girl with the big guy are Emmett Cullen and Rosalie Hale. The small girl is Alice, she's super weird. She's with the guy who looks like he's in pain all the time. He's Jasper Hale, Rosalie's twin"
"They're all like, together, together." Jessica continued before Angela Webber interrupted.
"Jessica, they aren't actually related." She defended them before Jessica scoffed.
"Yeah, but they live together, it's weird. Anyway, the brown hair guy that's super hot, he's Edward." Jessica says as he walks by, making Bella look at him. "He's single but thinks he's too good for anyone here. Like I care. Doctor Cullen must be a doctor slash matchmaker."
"Maybe he'll adopt me." Angela sighed dreamily.
Bella noticed the last member of the family, She was like Rosalie, a goddess. She wore all black, her jeans torn up, her shirt was an Ice Nine Kills shirt, the sleeves cut off, and down the sides a bit, showing her black bra and tattoos. Around her waist held a flannel as she carried a leather jacket with one arm. Her black combat boots clanked on the floor as she headed to her 'nephews and nieces' table. She had a black leather backpack, and a portable mug in her other hand. On her face were blacked out sunglasses that covered the sides of the glasses too, as if they were goggles, her wrists were covered in leather and metal bracelets, and more tattoos up her arm. Her fingers had rings on all of them, her nails were painted black, her hair was in a messy bun.
Jessica took notice, "That's Ianthe Hallows, Mrs. Cullen's younger sister. She's also super weird, and ignores almost everyone. Also she wears sunglasses indoors, and has a ton of tattoos. I mean, who does that?"
Rosalie rolled her eyes at Jessica, as Angela spoke up, "I actually asked Alice once, it's because her eyes are extremely sensitive to light, she gets really bad migraines that'll make her sick. She also really likes tattoos and they were done by a friend apparently."
Jessic just mumbled an 'oh' before everyone went back to doing what they were doing before. Ianthe stole some of Emmett's fies and chomped on them as she read a first edition Edgar Allen Poe book that was wearing a black book cover with roses. Edward was staring at Ianthe, sometimes stealing glances at Bella.
"No Edward, I won't ask them why you can't read her mind." The necromancer mumbled. The mind reader just huffed in annoyance.
Rosalie looked at Ianthe, "Are you coming with Alice and I to Seattle this weekend?"
Ianthe looked up from her book and thought for a second, "Probably not, I got my studies. But if you could get me more mascara and eyeliner, that'll be great." The two girls nodded in agreement.
"I don't understand, why wear eye makeup if you wear those glasses often?" Emmett asked, not trying to judge, just genuine curiosity.
"It's fun. Besides, at home I don't have to wear them and I like how it makes my eyes look." She replied, as the two other girls hummed in agreement. Ianthe was definitely a beauty, her dark style enhancing that, but the way she moved, raiditaded grace and intimidation.
Lunch was over when Ianthe finished three chapters in her book, she wandered through the halls, beside Edward. They had the same class, the two teens getting there early, Ianthe sat in behind Edward, the only empty seats were next to her and Edward. Soon, other students piled in, sitting with their friends, Bella entered the classroom, the fan behind her blowing her scent to the vampire male. Edward tensed up, covering his nose, Ianthe looked at him, tilted her head slightly.
Are you good? Want me to sit by you?, he just shook his head subtly, as the teacher was talking to Bella.
"You must be Ms. Swan. There are two empty seats, Mr. Cullen or Ms. Hallows." He said as Bella nodded.
Bella walked over and sat down next to Edward, making Ianthe roll her eyes. Class continued, Ianthe fell asleep. The teacher couldn't say anything, her and the Cullens had the best grades in the school. When class was over, Edward shot out of the room and Ianthe stretched, putting her ear buds in and calming leaving. Bella went to the office, seeing Ianthe outside of it, she went in and saw Edward trying to change his class. When he couldn't he stormed off, Ianthe followed behind him.
Ianthe licked her dry lips as she watched Edward get in his car and speed off. She stands with the others, her jacket wrapped warmly around her as she leaned against Emmett's jeep.
"What's wrong with him?" Emmett asked, as Alice smiled.
"Bella is Edward's blood singer." She whispered low to the other, Ianthe growled softly, climbing into Emmett's jeep.
Rosalie scoffed, following the black haired girl. Soon the Cullens left, returning to their house, when they arrived Ianthe took off her glasses and yawned. Showing off her sharp k-nines and the tooth behind it was also sharp. Her dark eyeliner framed her eyes beautifully, and the natural eyeshadow made her white eyes pop more than they already do.
Ianthe greeted Esme, giving her a hug, "How was today?" the vampire asked as the older woman huffed.
"I hate humans, especially teenagers." Ianthe grumbled softly. Despite looking younger, Ianthe was the eldest in the house, and much older than any other vampire out there.
Esme chuckled, Ianthe looked bored as she snuggled into Esme. Carlisle soon came home as well, seeing his old friend snuggling up to his wife.
"Well I hope you aren't planning to steal my wife." Carlisle said, jokingly, as Ianthe grinned widely.
"Nah, she's too good for me." She replied, as Edward came down from his room with bags.
"I'm going to Alaska, I just need time to collect myself." He said as Carlisle nodded in understanding.
Ianthe hissed at something in the corner, nothing was there from what the others could see. Everyone knew she saw more than they did. Ianthe grumbled softly, "So you don't like her either."
Carlisle knew instantly who she was talking to. In the 1980s, Ianthe had met a man of 29, in New York City. His name was Anthony Meyers and was an absolute terror, he had been a tattoo artist that had run an information ring for the cops. He had met Ianthe when she had gotten her tattoos, the two becoming friends, with Anthony's outgoing, bright, loud but slightly sadistic personality blending well with Ianthe's grumpy, calm, 'nicer' and quiet personality.
Anthony was always a good judge of personality, he however had been murdered when he had betrayed the wrong person. By the time Ianthe found him, he was already a spirit and had bounded to her, refusing to be brought back, and became her informante.
