You both sat on Tadashi's bed sombre and quiet. He was shakey and unfocused but he seemed less affected then he usually was.

So you gathered a little sense and muttered.

"Why was tsukishima at the park then?" Tadashi's eyes widened as if he had forgotten about the whole thing.

"He saw us all running after you and daichi asked him to help...he was the one to tell us to check the park" it made sense, except for the fact that tsukishima lived quite a distance from our house. Someplace nearer the city. "But Tashi why was he even around here".

The boy breathed in and let his eyes flicker from wall to wall in consideration before he spoke again "maybe he stayed at his aunts house last night" that would make sense but his aunt moved out last month "Tashi that doesn't work, his aunt moved remember".

Thoughtful quiet fell in the room tension still loomed but right at this moment you were genuinely confused as to why Kei was even around the area.

'Ring' 'Ring'

Frustrated by the untimely interruptions you grab at your phone answering the call without a thought as to check who was calling.

"Oh my god, can you stop messaging!"

"Uhm [Name]-chan?" this voice...oh for gods sake, as much as this would normally make you happy, butterflies were 100% not appropriate at this moment in time.

"Ah I'm sorry suga-kun, just um not the best ti-"

Tadashi tapped you nodding in indication that you could indeed call sugawara. It seemed more like he wanted to be left alone with his thoughts then actually wanting you to carry on calling suga but you obliged. Quietly leaving his room and going into your own to continue the conversation.

"Ah sorry I'm just a bit high strung again" you breathed worried you might’ve upset him by shouting earlier. You were sat on the tatami mat close to the window eyes tracing the tiny specks of rain that fell from the sky as you spoke.

"It's alright I was just calling to relay something for tsukishima" you knew he definitely heard your sharp intake of breath but you couldn't hold it.

"...he says that he won't be coming to walk with your brother tomorrow, I don't know why he didn't just text though?" Sugawara muttered thoughtfully.

"He's either blocked or lost his phone...the former is most likely" you were frustrated and determined to sort this mess out as soon as possible "Hey suga-kun"

He hummed a mellow acknowledgement and you continued "I want to organise a meet up to help those two sort themselves out are you down to help?"

He chuckled and the butterflies returned.
"Yes, yes I am"

"Ah damn it, sorry [Name]-chan my phones about to die ill meet you at lunch tomorrow to sort this out!"

And then before you could respond the line went dead.
