I layed there on top of my bed, thinking about the day I just had. Was this all just a dream? Did I really have my first kiss? I pinched my arm just to make sure. Yup, it was real. I just wish that he was laying here right beside me. Hey, I know that sounds "clingy" but I'm in love with the guy. He has made me feel more special than anyone else ever has. Reed. Just his name sends chills down my spine. Just the thought really. Now, I have to tell my best friend, Victoria, all about it. She'll be excited to here the news. I turned to my side to grab my Iphone from my handbag on the night stand when, I noticed a green slip in my bad. 'This isn't the one Reed gave me' I thought. I quickly pulled out the note and opened it up. I read these exact words.

"Hey Vi, I wanted to know it we could talk. Maybe at the food court at the mall after school? Alright. Cool. See you there?"

Ugh! It's that jerk that I used to call my boyfriend. The one who broke my heart by cheating on me with that blonde bimbo, Brittney. If I ever saw him again, I'd literally hit him where the sun don't shine. I just need to talk with my best friend right now. I clicked on Victoria's number so that I could call.

"Hello?"

"Hey! It's Vi!"

"Hey gurl! So, how was your day?!"

"Aw, you know. We went to the mall, went to Barney's, he kissed me, asked me to the dance, blah blah blah"

"HE KISSED YOU?! AND ASKED YOU TO THE DANCE?!"

"YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"AH!!"

"I KNOW RIGHT"

"Okay, now, lets get serious. You only call me when something's wrong. What's going on?"

"Well, earlier I was about to text you when I found this green sticky note in my bag. It was James. He wanted to meet me tomorrow at the food court at the mall after school tomorrow. What do I do?"

"Well, he did treat you like crap when you were with him, and he cheated on you with that blonde bimbo. What would he want from you now?"

"I think......................................he might want to hook up again."

"OH NO! OH HECK TO THE NO! YOU ARE NOT GOING TO HOOK BACK UP WITH THAT JERK!!!"

"I know. Besides, I'm taken."

"By who?"

"I don't know Reed."

"HE ASKED YOU TO BE HIS GIRLFRIEND?! YOU GUYS WOULD BE LIKE........THE CUTEST COUPLE ON THE PLANET!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I know right! But, what do I do"

"Don't go. He's not worth your precious time."

"You're absolutely right"

"Alright, well, I have to go."

"Okay, well see you later."

And with that she hung up. I could not sleep after that. I stayed up till midnight then knocked out.
