Violet's POV

I was looking around the SnapBack store and there was nothing that really caught my attention. There were several designs but, none of them called out to me. I kept looking and I was getting really bored. I ended up walking out empty handed. Then, I saw Reed sitting at a table with our food. I went and sat down next to him. He looked quite nervous. He kept fixing his hair and his foot kept tapping on the floor. I wanted to know the reason.

"Reed, why do you seem so nervous?"

"What, I'm fine. Let's just eat."

I knew he was lying; you could tell by his expression. I just shook it off. I chowed down my food like there was no tomorrow. I took my last bite and drank a sip of my Dr.Pepper. We ended up finishing and we kinda just sat there in awkward silence. I broke the ice.

"So, I was in the SnapBack store and, there was nothing really intriguing. Sorry."

"It's fine. I did get you something though..."

"And what would that be?"

He walked up to me and handed me a small indigo box. I quickly opened in and went into utter shock. It was a ring that said 'Together' with and engraved heart next to it. I turned and I gave Reed one of the tightest hugs on the planet.

"Thank you" I whispered in his ear

"You're welcome" he whispered back. His warm breath sent chills down my spine. I was going to remember this forever.
