it was the following month after they pair had gotten together and it was also another match day. even though they were now together, there were times were they weren't together because they got called up for their country.

at such young ages, both kai and jadon played with their nations and it was a huge moment for both when they were selected each time.

kai was an amazing forward for italy and united; making her one of the best youngsters in the world to this day and even when people compared her to jadon, football wise, all she did was laugh.

she didn't want to say she was better than anyone at the moment because she herself wasn't all that confident, but she for sure knew her limits. she got more playing time than jadon at united, but he was still classed as better than her simply because she was a woman.

the backlash she got as a woman playing football didn't have as much as an effect on her like it had before. she had gotten accustomed to the questions like, do you get scared when men are close to you when you have the ball? or would you class yourself better than this player or that player?  she grew tired of it eventually.

she had people defend her alot in her football, her fellow teammates, her boyfriend of course, her brother and her parents but that was mostly it. being a woman in football wasn't easy thats for sure.

she wasn't in united's starting eleven for today's match against spurs so she didn't have to worry about lining up right now. she sat next to jesse on the bench. jadon was starting today so she was excited to watch him play.

she huffed with the cold weather, her hands buried in jacket as she watched out on the field in front of her. with alex behind her, he kept on poking her shoulder to get her attention when the players starting lining up to commence the match.

"what?" she grew annoyed with alex's childish behaviour.

"your boyfriend's looking at you." he stated with a sheepish grin on his face.

"alex she can see you know, bruv." jesse spoke from next to her and laughed at his younger teammates.

"i know but she's so funny to annoy." he smiled timidly.

she looked at him blankly, "shut up, yeah?"

telles pursed his lips and nodded then he, too turned to look at the field.

and when she looked at jadon from her seat, he was indeed looking at her. a poker smile placed on his lips and continued to look at her from where he stood with his hands behind his back.

she winked at him from her seat and he laughed at her, shaking his head before he sent her a kiss which made her blush.

"oi girl did you see what he did? he blew you a kiss man!" alex exclaimed, slightly shaking her seat. she simply laughed at him, alex was always amusing to her.

the whistle blew shortly after and even though she was fully tuned into the match, she found herself staring at jadon often. she wasn't with the term of staring at him because he was her boyfriend but she was looking at him because she was silently wishing for him to do well.

once it was after half time and she was told by her coach she would soon be subbed on, she warmed up on the sidelines.

she didn't know who she was going to be subbed on for but when she saw the  bright red number 25, she smiled. he jogged over to the sidelines, double high-fiving her before he patted her lower back and whispered, "score for me, yeah?"
