killing silence

Jeongin walked by my second office a couple of times because I had to do some work in here. I had special glass surrounding me so that from the outside you couldn't look inside. He had been in here a couple of times but it probably slipped his mind because right now he was pacing back and forth while going crazy. Amused, I decided to watch him a little.

We didn't really talk since the day I spent over. And now that I thought about it, we may have kissed but everything was still blurry, so I wasn't too sure. It was probably only my imagination anyway. And Changbin already handed me my phone back, not telling me where he found it since he wasn't even with us that night.

I rested my chin on my hand as I was adoring his cute behavior. Chunghee was slowly getting impatient having to wait for his babysitter.

All of a sudden, the kid barged into my office.

"Uncle Hyunjin, your lover is annoying."

He let himself fall on my couch as I let out a giggle.

"He's not my lover anymore."

That's when he sat up straight again looking at me all disgusted.

"So you kissed? Love is disgusting."

And he returned to his original position. This kid was just like his father.

"Ah, um- hello, Mister Hwang."

Jeongin bowed as he greeted me, not even hiding how nervous and uncomfortable he was.

I raised an eyebrow, not knowing where the sudden confidence came from, I said, "I think we're past the Mister Hwang label."
