Boom

It was a normal day, I was going to visit my Lo... I mean, my dad to the Stark Tower. Honestly I was mainly going to see Loki, I've tried to get close to him and become at least friends but he's so closed. Anyway, I was done trying that and now I was just going because my dad had a surprise for me.

- "Surprise!" he said opening a door, it was a new lab. 

- "Wow, a new lab. You don't even let me go into your old lab, why am I here?" i said a little annoyed, I just to loved to sneak into his old lab and do crazy shit or help him with stuff that he was doing there, until he caught me and started to leave the door locked, that didn't stopped me but still, I didn't knew what was I doing here. 

- "You can come here all you want, because it's yours" he said handing me a key. I was so excited. 

- "Omg! thanks!" I said hugging him. 

- "Just, don't touch that bad boy over there" he said pointing to a machine in the corner of the room. "I still don't know where to put it but even moving it can be dangerous so, just be careful, please" 

- "Always, dad" I said smiling.

He left, I went inside my new lab and explored it. Everything I needed was there, *maybe just  little decoration like cool posters or something like that* I thought. I turned to look at the machine and got closer, slowly. 

- "The one thing I told you, give me the key" 

I turned around, my dad was at the door.

- "what?" 

- "You had only one rule young lady" he said, his hand in front of him, waiting for me to put the key there. 

- "Very funny, but I can recognize those green eyes everywhere" i said smiling.

- "oh, clever" said Loki changing back into himself.

- "Like my new lab?" i asked proudly.

- "Meh, it could be better, it could be green" 

- "ew no, green it's the worst color" i smiled.

- "I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that" he said, looking all over my lab. "I have things to do so I'll be leaving, but I really like your new lab, y/n, congratulations" he said exiting the room.

- "thanks" i whispered, he was already gone. *now back to that crazy machine* i thought.

I closed the door to make sure my dad or someone else wouldn't caught me this time. I went close to the machine. *I can't ask Jarvis about it because then he'll tell my dad*. I touch the top of it, slowly, carefully. But it made a strange high pitched noise so I take my hand away quickly. Walking backwards, slowly.

Then a lot of smoke started to come out of it, like a lot. I couldn't breath properly and couldn't see where the door was. I fell to the ground, coughing a lot, everything foggy. Until it stopped. I stand up with the help of my chair and my desk. There was still smoke in the room, the door was closed and only one little window was open. I opened the door and got out, but I felt funny. 

Loki's pov

I wanted to annoy y/n again so I started to walk to her lab, she was probably still there because it was hers now, no need to be sneaking in. I helped her a lot without her noticing, I used to put a sleeping spell on Tony so he wouldn't caught her until she was out of the lab. 

I got close and notice a lot of smoke, so I rushed to the lab. Y/n was right outside, sitting on the floor, her back against the wall. I kneeled in front of her. 

- "y/n! are you okay? what happened?" 

- "the... the machine, touch, boom" she said smiling, mimicking an explotion with her hand right in front of my face when she said boom, it was like she was high. 

I helped her get up. 

- "we need to get out of here" I said putting my arm on her waist, and her arm on my shoulder. 

- "no, it's my lab, I don't want to leave it alone" she said trying to go back inside. I grabbed her tighter. We got to the living room and sat on the couch. 

- "y/n, what happened?" i said cupping her face, her pupils were dilated. 

- "I already told you" she said annoyed, throwing my hands away from her face, then she stare next to me. "No, wait, put them back" she said grabbing my hands and putting there on her cheeks. I smiled.

- "do you feel okay?" i asked worried.

- "now that you're here, yes. No wait, that was way too cheesy" 

- "I think you're high, darling" 

She just stare at me. "darling?". She grabbed my face and kissed me. It lasted a good few seconds, until I remembered she was out of herself and probably was going to regret it later, so I pulled back. 

- "hey, not cool, I waited months to do that" she said frowning. "unless you don't like me, then I'm sorry" she said laying down. 

- "months? when you were sober? you like me?" 

- "well duh" she said with her eyes closed. 

- "but why would you like me?" i asked confused, but no response. She was asleep. I put a blanket over her and kissed her forehead. 

- "you have a big explanation to make when you wake up, darling" i whispered. Then went to clean her lab, she was going to be too tired for that later.
