Previously...
"However..." Marinette recontinued.
"'However'?!" the two repeated excitedly, perking back up like daisies.
"I believe I'd like to go speak with him. Chat Noir, that is," the ravenette stated respectfully, "Clearly, some of the things I had assumed weren't entirely true. I realize that now, and would like to apologize for it. I'd really appreciate it if you would take me to see him."
"Oh," the shrine spirits said worriedly, now realizing what their Lady and Mistress was asking for, "Unfortunately..."
"We fear that Master Chat Noir has gone-" Tikki started, biting her nonexistent nails.
"-To the World Over Yonder," Plagg finished, gloom and dread painting his every uttered syllable.
"...The World Over Yonder?" the ravenette repeated, trembling in fear at the name... and where it meant she had to go...
Part Two:
"Wait a minute!" Marinette exclaimed panickedly, cold sweat dripping from her marked forehead as she stood abruptly, "No! No, that-that can't be true! It's impossible! There's no way Chat Noir would go there; he's a divine servant! Why would he go to the yokai land? That can't be right! Can it?!"
"On the contrary, Lady Marinette-" Tikki began warily.
"-It is very possible," Plagg continued, just as worried as his companion, "Don't you remember, my lady? We told you earlier that-"
"Master Chat Noir was a wild black-cat yokai before he became a familiar for Master Fu."
"And since he has now been released from his duties as a familiar-"
"-It is most likely that he has gone back to where he lived before meeting Master Fu."
"Which is-"
"-Most unfortunately-"
"-The World Over Yonder."
"-The place of origin for all yokai," the red shrine spirit concluded.
The girl looked down at her toes in anxiety, scared beyond description at what she'd have to do in order to work things out with the beautiful blond demon. She couldn't forget about it and never apologize for her words the night before; Marinette knew she had to speak with him. If not for his sake, at least for hers. The new Land God would never forgive herself if she didn't try and talk to Chat Noir, even if he refused listen or forgive her in return. She had to go to him. She had to see him. She had to talk to him. She had to speak with him. She had to try. She just had to.
"Tikki..." the girl started shyly, still looking to her socks.
"Yes, my lady?" the spotted kwami inquired.
"Are..." she took a deep breath, raising her head and gazing up to her tiny friend before asking, "Are you certain that's where he is? That Chat Noir is in the yokai world?"
The kimonoed spirit gasped at her Lady and Mistress's question, for she had assumed she would drop the subject and give up. But as she was soon to see much from the young lady before her, Tikki hovered in awe at the dedication, determination, bravery, and pure courage that was radiating from her new Land God.
"Not exactly, Lady Marinette," Tikki answered after a moment, mustering to keep her jaw from dropping to the floor in amazement, "But Plagg is working on it as we speak."
