Christina's POV
"Please open the door, Christine," Connor asked, putting my ear to the door.
"No!" I yelled.
"Come on please?" Connor asked.
I walked over to the door, wiped the tears from my eyes, and opened it.
Then I walked back over to the bed and sat on it. I couldn't even force myself to smile for him.
"Care to explain?" He asked, looking at me, but I was looking down at my shoes. I was too sad to look in his eyes.
"No," I responded. He looked at his invisible watch.
"Then I will wait."
"Okay, fine. Some girls beat me up at school," was all I could say before I broke down in tears. I felt his strong arms wrap around me, as I cried into his chest.
I just couldn't stop crying. I just kept replaying their reactions in my head, which only made me sadder. These girls have been bullying me for years but I've been too scared to say anything because I don't want them to try to hurt me even more or worse... Hurt my family.
I'm just not okay with that.
"It's okay sister," Connor kept whispering in my ear.
I didn't think I would ever stop crying. This seemed like my only chance to let it all out.
But I eventually stopped crying and wiped my tears.
"Are you okay?" He asked me.
"I just need a moment alone," I said. He nodded and walked out, closing the door behind him.
Connors POV
I didn't know if leaving her was the best idea but when I got downstairs I was immediately attacked with questions.
"Oh my god is she okay?" Ricky asked.
"Is she?" Kian joined.
"She's broken and its so sad to see her like that," I said, tears filled my eyes. My sister was getting bullied and it killed me to know that I couldn't do anything about it. But I wiped my tears quickly.
"I'm so sorry con," JC said.
"Awe Connor. Is she coming down?" Ricky asked, concern on his face.
"In a few. I gave her time by herself," I responded and looked up at all of them. They all had tears in their eyes.
"Well when she comes down, there's two things we can do to get rid of her sadness..." Kian started.
"Starbucks and Taco Bell" we all said at the same time.
"Not together though, sounds gross. We aren't going to be like Connor mixing up a mcdonalds meal," JC said we all laughed.
"I thought it was burger king," Ricky argued.
"Who cares? Let's just hope she's okay," I cut in.
After a few minutes we heard little footsteps walking down the stairs. We ran over to them and I saw a fake smile painted on Christina's mouth. I knew she was faking because her eyes showed pain and sorrow. She fixed herself up though, she had makeup on her bruises and fixed up her hair. She looked beautiful, like me (A/N I love Connor so I kinda had to incorporate some of his beauty too).
Ricky was the first to run over and hug her, then Kian, then JC. Then she walked over and hugged me, I hugged her back.
"Why did you hug me?" I asked, not complaining but just simply questioning.
"Because I love you," those words killed me on the inside. I love her too, but obviously not enough to have sensed something wrong on our phone calls and whatnot. She did always sound a bit distracted over the phone and she had the same excuse everyday. I cant believe I didn't realize until now! I'm a horrible brother.
