"Erica, do you copy?" Robin asked her through the walkie-talkie "Mm-hmm. I copy. You nerds in position or what?" She asked "Yeah, we're in position. It's all quiet here, so you've got the green light." She looked of the ledge from the roof. "Green light, roger that. Commence Operation Child Endangerment." She said. "Can we maybe not call it that?" I asked "See you on the other side. Nerds."

"All right, nerds. I'm there." Erica spoke. "Do you-Do you see anything?" Robin stammered. "Yeah, I see those boring boxes you're so excited about." She stated. "Any guards?" Robin questioned "Negative." Erica replied. "Booby traps?" Robin teased. "If I could see them, they'd be pretty shit traps, wouldn't they?" "Thank you for that." Robin said sarcastically. We heard something crashed then Erica spoke "I'm in." "Oh, God." Steve sighed. Then the doors opened revealing Erica "Free ice cream for life." Erica shouted at us. "What is it with her and ice cream?" Miles asked before we rushed down to her and went in the room.

Steve cut open one of the boxes with a pocket knife and open the flaps. Inside was some sort of metal contraption. He looked up at us before twisting it open. He pulled it out and air came out of it. We looked and saw four containers inside. "That's definitely not Chinese food." Steve stated. "Uh, maybe you guys should, you know, stand back." Steve suggested. We all did, except for Dustin "No." "Just step back, okay?" Steve put his hand on Dustin's chest, trying to push him back. "No." Dustin repeated, still staying in his place. "Step back." "No! If you die, I die." Dustin explained. Steve looked at him for a second, unsure "Okay." Steve reached into the box and pulled out a tube filled with some kind of bright green substance.

"What the hell?" Steve whispered. The ground shook a little, making us look up. "Was that just me, or did the room move?" Dustin asked. "Booby traps." Erica whispered. "You know what? Let's just grab that and go." Robin grabbed the tube from Steve and shoved it into Erica's backpack. Dustin rushed to the control panel. "Which one do I press, Erica?" He questioned then he began to continuously press the 'open door' button. "Just press the damn button, nerd." She exclaimed. "Which one? I'm pressing the button, okay?" He shouted back. "Press 'open door'! " Erica yelled "I'm pressing 'open door'!" Dustin yelled. Before Erica could reply the whole room moved again. The door was blocked and there was banging sounds.

The room started to go down at a fast speed, making all of us scream and hold onto something for support. I tried to cover my ears from of all the noise but failed because I still needed to hold onto something I hate loud noises, they make me feel like I'm about to pass out and Miles knew that. Miles rushed towards me and pulled me closer to him, he covered my ears. I closed my eyes as they all continued to yell. "Shit! Shit!" Dustin screamed. Miles removed his hands from my ears then grabbed my hand, squeezing it. I squeezed back, still panicking. We all continued to scream then Dustin went towards the control panel. "We're going down! We're going down!" Steve yelled. "Yeah, no shit, Harrington!" Robin shouted at him. "Why don't these buttons work?!" Dustin slammed his hands on the buttons. "Press the button!" Erica shouted as she rushed towards the control panels. "What do you think I'm doing?!" Dustin shouted then they both began to push the buttons. "Fuck!" I yelled. The elevator then slammed onto ground making us all fall. "Ow..." I groaned, letting go of Miles' hand and touched my back. There's definitely gonna be a bruise there later.

"Is everyone okay?" Robin asked as she struggled to get up. "Yeah, I'm great now that I know that Russians can't design elevators!" Steve shouted as he went to the control panel. "I think we've clearly established that those buttons don't work." Robin stated "They're buttons. They have to do something." Steve exclaimed. "Yeah, if we had a keycard." Robin said. "A what?" Steve asked. "It's an electronic lock." She pointed the card scanner. "Same as the loading dock door. If we don't have a keycard, it won't operate. Meaning," "We're stuck in here." Dustin finished.

"Yeah." Robin nodded as Steve aggressively shut the panel door. "Just so you nerds are aware, I'm supposed to be spending the night at Tina's, and Tina always covers for me. But if I'm not home for Uncle Jack's party tomorrow and my mom finds out you five are responsible, she's gonna hunt you down, one by one, and slit your throat." Erica exclaimed "I don't care about Tina! Or Uncle Jack's party! Your mom's not gonna be able to find us if we're dead in a Russian elevator!" Steve yelled "Hey, What if we climbed out?." Dustin pointed to the vent on the ceiling."

We heard a vehicle coming towards us so Robin rushed to the door and put her ear against it. "We've got company." Robin said. We all climbed up and shut the vent. I heard a buzzing sound then the doors opening, then a voice speaking in Russian. "Let's go." We all hurried down when the Russians left, Erica was the first one out, then Miles, me, then Dustin. Steve grabbed the green ooze and put it between the door and the ground, so Robin and him could get out, the container started cracking making me grab Steve's hand, helping him. Once he got out, the container bursted, burning the floor as smoke came out of it. "You still wanna drink that?" Robin joked.

"Holy mother of God." Dustin turned and saw the long ass hallway. "Well, hope you guys are in good shape. Looking at you, roast beef." Steve patted Dustin's chest as he started to walk. "Let's go, come on." "Why me?" Dustin questioned, before we all followed along.
