~Third person pov~

"Miles?!" Steve yelled out in disbelief. Miles smiled widely and nodded.

"So how did you guys crack the code?" Dustin ask.
Y/n was about to answer but heard Steve yell. Both Dustin and Y/n turned their heads to the window "Wha-" Dustin started but Y/n's eyes widen.

Y/n quickly stood up and ran to the door slamming it open. Miles turned to the door seeing his childhood best friend. "Oh my God..." Y/n muttered "Y/n!" Miles exclaimed. Y/n ran to Miles and tackled him with a hug. "I've missed you so much." Miles whispered "I've missed you too." Y/n replied feeling tears forming around her eyes.

Dustin opened the backdoor confused. The two pulled away from the hug. "Wha- who is that?" Dustin asked. Y/n turned to Dustin, "Oh um, Dustin, this is Miles my childhood best friend." Y/n smiled.

~Small time skip + Y/n's pov~

"How did you know I was here?" I asked Miles. Steve gave Miles free ice cream and we went to the backroom. "I didn't. I was supposed to go to your house, but I went here first. I was just looking around and saw Steve, then you came out the backdoor." Miles said. "Since when did Steve work at Scoops Ahoy?" He asked taking a bite of his ice cream. "He's just taking summer jobs before collage." I answered. "Where's Flora?" I ask "She's at home." Miles said.

"You came here alone?" I ask "About that...we moved here." Miles said (just go with it 😭) My eyes widen "Seriously?!" I ask. He nodded "Oh and Mrs. Grose keeps on hiring Nannies for Flora, like for her schoolwork." He said. "Huh." Was all I said. I was surprised on how similar Miles looks to Mike, they look even more similar now. The only difference is the hair, Miles has longer and more curly hair and Mike has a bowl cut.

~Time skip~

Me and Miles were catching up on things. I wanted to tell him about El but I knew Mike wouldn't allow it. Now it was closing time and Miles had to go home. We waved to each other and he left. We were both supposed to go to his house but Steve said no. At first I didn't want to stay and have Steve drive us home, but then he reminded me about code.

~Small time skip~

It was starting to rain a lot so me, Dustin, Steve and Robin grabbed our raincoats and went up at the top of the building. We watched as a delivery car parked at the back of the mall. The person who was driving it got out of the car and carried a package.

Dustin was looking through the binoculars he brought. "What do you thinks in there?" Steve asked "Guns, bombs?" Dustin answered "Chemical weapons?" Robin added "Whatever's in there are armed to the teeth." I said.

The delivery person opened a door, showing some sort of storage room. "Hey, what's in there?" Robin asked. Dustin looked in the room using his binoculars "Just more boxes." Dustin answered. "Let me check it out." Steve said reaching for the binoculars "No, I'm still looking." Dustin argued. "Let me see." Steve argued back. I sighed "Oh my god," I muttered "Just give the binoculars to Steve." I whisper yelled. "Hang on!" Dustin whispered.

Steve tried to grab the binoculars from Dustin but Dustin hit the binoculars to the metal roof making a loud sound. "Shit." I whispered. We all ducked down. "Let's go." Robin whispered. We all crawled towards the door and went inside. We went back to Scoops Ahoy and removed our raincoats. "I think we found your Russians." Robin said.
