A/N: Long chapter, but I will still be posting 3

Azias' face appeared on my phone screen, and I found myself immediately smiling at how cute he looked. "Hey," I softly greeted, and he licked his lips before greeting me back. "You look cute."

"You do too," he flirted, and I playfully rolled my eyes. "You lucky I ain't there to stop you from rolling ya eyes at me."

"Whatever," I playfully replied.

"What you up to, ma?" he questioned with interest.

I shrugged, "Just chilling. Not much to do in here."

"I ain't mean to lock y'all up like that, it's-" he got out before I cut him off.

"A safety thing," I nodded in understanding. "I get it. It wouldn't have been bad if you were around."

He cracked a faint smile before teasing, "Aight, don't get all soft on me now."

"Shush," I chuckled. "What are you doing?"

"Nothing, that's why I called," he joked, earning a smile from me. "If all goes well over here, I should be back by Friday night."

"Okay," I nodded. "Should I prepare a dance for Friday?"

He shook his head, "Nah, Imma probably be exhausted. Seeing you dance gone keep me up for sure." I blushed while shyly smiling. "I wanna take you out on a date again though— not Friday, but soon."

"Okay," I shyly nodded. "What are we gonna do?"

"I don't know yet, but if there's something you got in mind, I'll have it arranged," he answered.

I promised, "I'll think of something."

"Aight, and I will too," he nodded.

"How have you been?" I questioned. It had only been two days since Azias left, but I had already missed him. I was getting attached, and I knew that my feelings would fuck me over in the long run.  I knew that I still had a task to do, or at least I needed to figure out a way to get out of it.

Not wanting to ruin the moment with my condemning thought, I decided to focus on the present.

He gave his chin a quick stroke before sighing, "A little stressed, really."

"Aw, I'm sorry to hear that," I pouted. "Anything I can do to help?"

He chuckled, "The fact that you're in a whole other state yet-"

"Yet nothing," I playfully rolled my eyes. "Care isn't limited by distance." He quietly stared into the camera, and for a moment, I thought the call froze until I saw him blink with the same expression on his face. His smile always made me melt. It was a shame he didn't smile often. "Stop staring, creep," I said playfully, and he started grilling me instead, making me burst into laughter.

I never thought anyone could switch facial expressions so quickly, but he sure proved me wrong!

"Watch when I get back," he threatened playfully.

I played along, "What you gone do?"

"Don't worry about that," he answered with a slight smirk on his face, and I just knew he was thinking something dirty.

"I don't like that look on your face."

He gave a seductive chuckle before shrugging, "Too bad." He then licked his lips before commenting, "I should've kissed you before I left."

"Why?" I asked out of curiosity.

"Cause now I can't stop thinking about kissing you."

"You can when you get back," I shrugged.
