Y/n's POV

"Wake up Y/n! We're leaving in 20 minutes!"

My mum knocks on my door.

"Hurry up!" she says, louder this time.

"I'm coming!" I yell back.

I quickly jump out of bed and run into my closet.

We were leaving for Los Angeles today to compete against the Partridges in the LA Family Beach Championship Games, just like we do every summer.

After awhile I found a matching pair of a light green sweatpants and a hoodie.

After I put the clothes on I went to my desk and added some makeup.

"Y/n! Y/n!" Austin, my annoying fourteen year old brother, cries while knocking on my door.

"Leave me alone, Austin"

"I need help finding my pillow! It just disappeared."

"I can't help you right now, I'm doing my makeup." I said.

"You don't need any makeup"

"Aww, thank you!"

"You need plastic surgery" he replied and left.

...

After about 4 hours of chaos the whole family was finally seated on the plane to LA. Here I come LA!

After approximately ten hours we finally arrived in LA. The youngest siblings were going crazy. Kayla was crying because of the air pressure in her ears and Juan and Jean were kicking the seat in front of them, annoying the old man in the seat.

"Whoa, calm down! We're about to land" I said, putting my hands over their legs.

"Don't touch me" they said at the same time.

"I won't if you guys stop kicking the seat."

Their legs went still, and I returned to my book.

Ten minutes later and we were all standing outside of the airport waiting for our taxi.

"Y/n! Look, it's them." Elijah said and pointed to a group of about 9 people.

"Oh my- Judy!" I yelled.

A girl with long, brown hair turned around to face me.

"Y/n?" she yelled back.

We both ran into each others arms and hugged.

"I've missed you so much, Y/n!"

"I've missed you too"

We both pull away and scan each other's faces.

"Woah Y/n, I- what kind of water have you been drinking over the last year?"

"Haha, thank you Judy"

"No but like for real, you've always been really pretty but now... I don't know, you're like-"

"You're making me blush, stop!"

She smiles and I look behind her. There was Louis, already staring at me. He had gotten very attractive over the last year, like me (according to Judy, wouldn't say the same though). I rolled my eyes and him as he turned away from me.

"I'll meet you at the swings tonight at 9pm, okay?"

"Sure thing." Judy replied and we went separate ways.

"You shouldn't hang out with her, Y/n. We're competing against each other", dad said when we got into the taxi.

"Couldn't care less", I replied.

He sighed and turned his attention to Juan and Jean.

"How many times do I have to tell you to stop kicking the seat in front of you?" he said.

They giggled and stopped.

After everything returned to quiet I got a text from Judy.

Judy:

Me:
