I turned around and saw Y/n, the person whom I have had a crush on since I was 12. I couldn't tell her though, we were rivals. I'm supposed to hate her. She probably thinks I do.
"Y/n?" Judy yelled back.
They ran to each other and hugged. Ugh, to be Judy.
"I've missed you so much Y/n!" I hear Judy say.
"I've missed you too!"
They pull away from each other.
"Woah Y/n, I- what kind of water have you been drinking over the last year?", I hear Judy say, shocked. Y/n has always been pretty, why does Judy sound so shocked?
"Haha, thank you Judy"
"No but like for real, you've always been really pretty but now... I don't know, you're like-"
I try to move my head so that I can see her better but Judy is covering her face. Ugh.
"You're making me blush, stop!" Y/n laughs. I love her laugh. It's not common for her to laugh around me though.
Suddenly Y/n looks over at me. Woah, she has really changed since last summer. I was not expecting that. I quickly turn my back against her and I could feel my cheeks starting to heat.

"Why are you so quiet, Lou?", Judy asks as we are finally away from Y/n.
"Oh, I guess I'm just tired", I lie.
"I know you're lying", she says.
"How?"
"So you are lying"
"What? No, I'm not!"
"Y/n has a boyfriend"
"I said it's- wait what?", I say, shocked.
A boyfriend? But-
"Yeah, he's like double your height and he's incredibly hot"
I could feel the jealousy rise inside of me.
"Well, that's great for them I guess"
"I was just kidding! Single for lifeeee", she laughs.
Oh.
"Why would you say that?", I ask.
"I just wanted to see if you'd be jealous and boy oh boy, you got so pale!" Judy laughs again.
"Shut up" I mutter.

Two hours later we finally arrived at the lake house.

"Judy! Come and take care of Charlotte, I need to go and buy groceries." I heard mum say to Judy.
"But I was gonna-" she protests but got cut off by mum.
"I don't wanna hear it. Go upstairs and take care of Charlotte"
She sighs and goes upstairs.
"Mum, I'm gonna go out for a walk" I tell her.
"That's okay, but I want you to be home before 12am."
I nod and shut the door behind me as I leave.
After maybe 30 minutes of walking I come to a cliff. I lay down on the edge and watch the stars.

I was almost asleep when I heard something. I turned my head and saw a short figure coming closer to me. I let out a scream and quickly stood up.
As the figure got closer I realized that it was just Y/n. "Louis?" "Y/n?"
