"Deku," Katsuki breathed. "How-"Before Katsuki could finish his sentence, the green haired male began to charge at him. He was fast; faster than he had ever been. You almost couldn't see his movements.
"Wait," Katsuki began, trying to hold back the tears that had begun to brim at his eyelids. "Deku, I'm sorry. Please-"
His apology was cut short when he felt himself losing balance. Izuku had kicked his feet out from under him and was now standing over the pleading blonde.
"D-Izuku, please stop," Katsuki begged. He didn't want to fight him. "I don't want to do this."
Izuku paid no mind to his words, however, and sent a powerful punch to Katsuki's stomach. Sero and Aizawa were quick to jump into action because of this.
Izuku was too fast for Aizawa's quirk to be put into action though, so he wasn't of much help in the situation. Sero's tape wasn't of any help either because he had to be able to see his target when discharging it.
"Bakugou," Aizawa said breathlessly. "There's a device on Midoriya's arm. I'm not sure what it is, but I want you to try and take it off." Katsuki, now recovering from the punch he took, located Izuku and noted which arm the device was on.
"Okay," Katsuki said. "I'll try my best."
The blonde threw himself into the middle of the training field and waited for Izuku to follow. When he appeared in front of him, he began to create a large explosion.
"Shit," Katsuki said under his breath. He didn't have his costume on, so any explosions he sent out could really hurt him. "I'll have to limit what I do."
Izuku was able to dodge the first blow that the blonde threw at him, but the second one caught his right leg and sent him falling to the ground. Katsuki was quick to take this to his advantage and tossed himself towards the smaller male, but he wasn't fast enough; Izuku was in the air within milliseconds.
Katsuki, mid fight, retraced to a fight he had had with Izuku a while back. In this fight, he was able to see where Izuku's lightning was because he wasn't as fast. He was also able to predict the smaller male's moves. In this moment, however, he couldn't do either of these things.
Katsuki was brought out of thought when he was knocked to the ground by a hard blow to his back. Another one came quickly after that and prevented him from getting up as fast.
"It's over, Bakugou." Izuku said coldly. "Just give up." With this, he sent another blow to his former-classmates back and could begin to see specks of blood forming on his skin.
Katsuki was out of breath. Maybe it was because he hadn't trained over the summer, or it could be that he didn't have his hero costume on. Either way, he was exhausted.
While Izuku was stood still, Aizawa was able to use his quirk on him. Katsuki noticed quickly because of the blue glow Izuku had surrounding him had disappeared.
The blonde lunged forward and pinned Izuku to the ground, but the smaller male was still strong without his quirk. He sent a fist straight into Katsuki's throat, which sent him sprawling off of his pinned body.
Quickly, Izuku found himself standing over Katsuki again, but this time he felt dizzy. Ignoring the spinning in his head, he jumped onto the blonde and began to throw punches to his face and stomach.
He had only gotten a few punches in before his body was thrown to the side though, and he found that his old classmate Sero had knocked him off.
Izuku wasn't able to recover quickly because he now was out of breath. He also found that he was quite dazed.
Before he fell over in exhaustion, Izuku noticed a small speck of blood on his arm. His tracking device was no longer attached to him. Katsuki had pulled it off when he had him pinned. His vision became blurry, and within seconds he was unconscious.
Katsuki quickly found his way to the smaller male and drug him off of the training court. While he was doing so, several pro heroes showed up. They quickly made their way onto the training field and began attacking the large Nomu.
"We need your help, Bakugou." Aizawa said before taking off toward the nomu. If Katsuki was being honest, his body didn't want to fight anymore. He was Katsuki though, so he threw himself into the fight.
One particularly large Nomu found his way into Katsuki's sight and began to charge at him. The blonde took this as a chance to send a large explosion to the beasts chest, but he did more damage to his hand then he had to the beast in front of him.
"This isn't good," he said impatiently. "I can't keep doing this." He was only able to send a few more large explosions into the beast before he had to recoil and use his own brute strength.
The nomu was extremely strong though and grabbed Katsuki by the arms, pulling them in separate ways. The blonde shrieked in pain when his right arm was dislocated.
Since the Nomu was able to recover from his large explosions, Katsuki knew he had to go big, otherwise he might not be going home.
When the Nomu was satisfied with his harm to Katsuki's right arm, he dropped the boy to the ground and hovered above him. Quickly, he sent a fat fist to the boys side. Katsuki rolled over in pain and began to crawl away, trying to put a bit of distance between the two. He knew the beast wasn't smart, so he figured he could recover a little before it attacked again, but he was wrong.
The nomu jumped in front of Katsuki and grabbed him by the leg, hoisting him into the air. While he was dangling, the beast pulled back his fist and sent it to the blonde's spine, sending him flying across the field.
Katsuki was in immense pain, but his fight wasn't over until he couldn't possibly try anymore. He took a few seconds to regain his composure before the nomu appeared again. Behind the fat beast was a group of pro heroes fighting off the last few Nomu. Why couldn't Katsuki take on this one?
The nomu found its way to Katsuki again and grabbed him by his torn shirt, hoisting him into the air again. He was then sent into the ground with a great amount of force that knocked the wind out of him.
This was his final chance. When the beast was approaching him, Katsuki formed a bomb in his left hand that could result in some serious injuries. He wasn't okay with dying like this, but he would rather go down by his own hand than anybody else's.
When the Nomu was at his feet again, Katsuki sent his biggest explosion yet at the beasts chest. He couldn't bare to look at the damage done to his hand, and really, he couldn't because his head began to ring sharply. Within seconds everything went black.
