sally had managed to make her self feel better that morning, when her mam woke up she told her that's everything was fine last night.

and in another house, just a few minutes away, noel sat on the couch, debating wether to go out with his girlfriend today or not.

noels pov

"please noel i'm bored", she whined.

liam did not like her at all and i knew it, my mam pretended to but i knew she didn't. to be very honest, i wasn't too keen on her either, it was horrible to say but she was just a distraction.

"cmon man, my legs are killin'", i groaned.

"please noelie", she tugged on my arm.

my mam and liam were in the kitchen but i heard them scoff from in the passage.

"don't call me that, let's just go", i sighed, trying to push what came to mind away.

we left the house and she decided for us to go to the shops, it was 3 o'clock and we walked their holding hands.

truly, i did not love her, not at all, she really was a distraction, so i wasn't alone. she did make everything a tiny bit easier these past 5 month. the thoughts slowly, very slowly, backing away from the front of my mind.

"why don't you like me calling you that?", she asked.

"just don't like it", i lied.

"okay then", she mumbled.

we walked there in silence, i wish i could say it was comfortable, but it wasn't, the only contact we made was our hand being held together, her deciding on that.

the shop was in sight, just a minute until we would be there. as we got closer the people faces got clearer.

that's when i saw her face, the one i'd dreamt of every night for 4 years. she was sad, her signature smile wasn't there anymore. she turned my way, then she saw my face. her eyes widened and a tiny smile found her face. but when i looked into her eyes it was just sadness.

her eyes traveled to my hand and i dropped it from my girlfriends.

"what the fuck?", she angrily muttered.

i didn't say anything, i was to busy looking at sally.

"i'm going home noel", she exclaimed, walking away.

my feet made their way over to sally. she made her way over to me.
a smile on both of our faces.

"oh my fuck", i breathed, taking her in my arms.

"noelie, i've missed you so much", she spoke, her words muffled by my coat.

"i've missed you way more, trouble", i spoke.

she just hugged me tighter and didn't say anything.

"i've got so many questions right now", i said, taking my arms from around her.

i couldn't hide the smile on my face, i'd missed her so much and here she was. my dream girl.

"i'm sorry noel, it's such a long story", she apologised.

"no need to be sorry love, don't say you won't come back to mine?", i asked.

"i'd want nothing more", she smiled as we made our way to my house.

normal pov

sally didn't want her to see them sad, like she said before. only now she wasn't sad. seeing noel made all her problems disappear.

noel didn't even care what his girlfriend was doing or how she felt. he had everything he ever wanted right next to him.

"that your girlfriend then?", sally asked noel, hiding her disappointment.

"let's leave all this stuff for later sally", he just smiled.

and they made there way to noels house, just as they used to, happy as ever from one another's presence.
