don't go away - noel gallagher

just one little problem

sally, noel, liam, peggy and sally's mam were all in the gallagher house. peggy had rung sally's mam saying sally was there and sally's mam was happy she finally went to see them and came over herself.

sally's mam (kate) hadn't really seen much of the boys and their mam in a while, but she talked with peggy over the phone a lot.

and so they were all in the living room, talking about different things, avoiding the serious topics in front of the parents.

noels pov

sally was sat on the couch near me, her back leaning against my side and my arm around her while she watched an episode of only fools and horses that was on the tv.

i was talking to my mam and kate who were on the other couch. i occasionally fell out of the conversation, looking at the girl who lay on me, thinking how lucky i was.

liam was at the shop, getting some 'stuff' as he said.

"well i'm off, need to make the tea", kate said, getting up.

"alright, i'll ring you later", my mam spoke.

i looked at sally, her head turned from the tele to her mam.

"we going now?", she asked.

"yeah, come on"

she audibly sighed, getting up.

"she can stay here for a bit if she wants", my mam said to kate.

i smiled and looked back to sally who also had a smile on her face.

"alright, be back for tea though, i'll ring peggy when it's done", she said, opening the front door.

"okay, bye"

"bye"

"see ya later"

"bye kate"

then she left and sally lay back in her original position, going back to the tele.

"i haven't saw you in four years, and you come and watch tele", i laugh.

"it's better than talking to you, noel", my mam said, walking into the kitchen.

sally grinned at looked up at me.

"let's talk then", she raised her eyebrows.

"come upstairs then", i sighed, knowing we'd eventually have to speak about my girlfriend.

i got up off the couch and she fell on her back then pulled a face at me, to which i laughed at. i put my hand out for her to grab onto and she did.

"come on then", i said, opening the door to my room.

we sat down on the bed, sitting against the wall, next to each other.

"where do we start?", she smirked.

"what happened in the four years", i sighed.

sally's pov

i told him everything i could remember, to me finishing school, meeting new friends, getting a boyfriend, him cheating on me and being abusive, what my dad was like and more.

he must have sensed my nervousness talking about my boyfriend and what happened with him, so he grabbed hold of my hand while i spoke about it.

he then told me about him becoming a roadie for a bit, him getting a girlfriend a few month ago, he seemed sad when he told me about it.

i was as well. i'd never told him about how i felt, purely because he never showed any interest, except the little things we did as kids. no matter how hard i tried to move on from him, it never worked, i just found myself wanting him even more.

the rest of the night, me, noel, liam and peggy, sat in the living room, talking and messing about.

i was truly at home and happy, there was just the fact that another girl had noel and i didn't.
