The first week of september came in a flash, whirring Bella Swan back to school in less than three months of peaceful bliss with the Cullens and her sister. Sometimes, not so peaceful when Eliana would bring up the fact that Bella was making a terrible decision. Someone should've taken control of her decision making ever since they met the Cullens. Bella's love for Edward made her blind in Eliana's perspective. She didn't blame Edward at all. Just Bella and her reckless choices.

Eliana didn't miss the chances to visit Jacob and Billy too. She even finally meets Leah Clearwater in the midst of her visiting. The two of them — Leah's brother, Seth — and Eliana and Jacob would play charades as their source of entertainment in the house. To say the least, Eliana hated Jacob as her partner as he had no sense of creativity.

Who crosses his arms against his chest and stands straight as to count of being a vampire?

"I'm not even going to ask." Eliana sighs before collapsing on her bed besides Rosalie who had been laying there the entire time, reading a book she found in Eliana's room. The door was opened partly but her sister is in school and her dad is at work.

"Esme wants to have you over for lunch today." Rosalie only says, propping the book she held on the side table and moves closer to Eliana who moves up to rest her head on her shoulder. The moment was too cute for Rosalie to even say something about the smell of wet dog on her mate. "She missed cooking."

"And Esme is now my favorite vampire." Eliana hums, feeling the offended look Rosalie gave her. But she can only chuckle and shifts more to get a better position, Rosalie held her close. "Don't blame me. She's a good cook."

"Carlisle's been asking for you." Rosalie says, "Not at home, at the hospital. Does your arm still bother you? Was it Victoria's attack? Does something hurt?" She continously asks.

Then Eliana shook her head, reaching down and held Rosalie's hand to calm her. "No, I'm in perfect health." She says and the vampire draws in the acceptance of the truth. "I told Carlisle that I'll stop for my check-ups from my first accident. It's been almost a year — He's still trying to convince me to go through with physical therapy."

"Well, do you need physical therapy?"

"No, I don't. I'm not having problems with my arm."

"Okay." Rosalie never really noticed if Eliana was having struggles with her arm. Maybe she was too blinded by her happier moments with the Swan, she doesn't see Eliana almost dropping the camera she gifted her because of a nervous tick. Rosalie was too in on the moments to notice Eliana's right hand shaking just by holding a sponge to wash the dishes in the Cullen home. "You'll tell me if something's wrong, correct?"

     Eliana nods, "Yes, ma'am."

"Good. Because in two months, you'll go to NYU and I only get to see you when I can." Rosalie didn't like the idea of being seperated from her family. Eliana wasn't about to force her to come to New York with her so they became clear with the fact that they will be — sadly — seperated.

"There is always spring break. Academic break, weekends." Eliana lists off. "Photography isn't a major course. I'll visit when I can."

"You should. Because I don't know what I'll do without you here." Rosalie plants a kiss on top of Eliana's head, smelling her scent that made her sigh.

"You've lived for almost a hundred years without me, you can handle a few more."

     "I doubt that."

Eliana had the whole week off of work when Alice dragged her to Port Angeles to shop. In other words, to get her away from Rosalie for once. Just once. "It's a great opportunity!" Alice calls and glancing to her right to Eliana.

"I think sleeping in for my day was a great opportunity. Now I'm here with you, about to buy clothes and think of a gift for my sister who is about to have dozens of birthdays for the rest of her life after this one." Eliana rubs her eye, careful not to ruin her contact lense and yawns.

"Did you just yawn?" Alice snaps.

"Alice, I was sleeping when you barged in my house — Of course I just yawned."

Wearing Rosalie's jacket to prevent her from being cold, Eliana walks alongside of Alice, listening to the girl went on and on about how she was going to plan Bella's party in a few days. Alice wrapped her arm around Eliana's as they walk, constantly talking and Eliana didn't mind as it took her mind to an edge. Where she would live in a fantasy of hers that her sister doesn't want to become an immortal. That this birthday party would be one of many but would gradually stop after eighty years or so.

It absolutely terrified Eliana to think of her little sister staying young while she herself was ageing. How Bella would have to make up a cover story for their dad and would leave with the Cullens if their youth became a problem in town. Eliana would like to think she can handle Rosalie leaving. She didn't but it's what she liked to think about. But Bella coming as well, that wrecked Eliana by thinking of it.

Eliana would have to comfort her father who will have no idea of the truth. How his little girl decided to live amongst the fairytales that was used to entertain folks and children. How she decided oh so easily to become a vampire just to love a boy unconditionally was baffling. Eliana would never change for someone she loves just to live up to their standards.

"The white one, definitely." Alice says, swiping on hanger after hanger

"What's it with Cullens and white." Eliana questions, tossing the purple turtleneck back to the pile and took Alice's advice of the white one she held. She places it in the basket and kept walking around the almost empty shop. The store clerk was standing behind the cashier, bored out of her mind.

"Oh, nothing. Rosalie mentioned she loved seeing you in white." Alice hums innocently.

"Okay." Eliana stirs quickly enough and began to look for more clothes.

Now about Rosalie, Eliana could only smile to herself to think that she talks about her to her family. It was surprising. Rosalie was yet to keep surprising her. Everyday, it's the same gesture. For them to go somewhere or for Rosalie to appear in her room without making a sound. It was not surprising anymore but Eliana was still baffled by how each moments of theirs was shared, her heart would yearn for Rose even more.

"Hey!" Alice calls, snapping her fingers to catch Eliana's attention who flinches and turns to her. "Stop thinking about Rose for a second. Come on, let's try it on."

     Guilty.
