It was a rare thing. The ability to stay calm. A situation goes dire, everyone wouldn't be able to know how to assess it. Most people would turn around and run to avoid the situation. They would be afraid, they wouldn't want anything to deal with it. Only most people would be either stupid or brave enough to embrace the direness.

It was light rain yet heavy thunder. By every strike, Eliana counts. Every flash of light outside, she'd slightly flinch and expect a loud thunder. Her sensitivity to hearing was making it difficult not to jump in fright. Nonetheless, she remained seated on the couch while she reads over a book. On the couch she sits, Alice was situated while looking over the plans she has for the wedding incoming.

Outside, Alice had Emmett, Jasper and even Rosalie to put away flower decorations inside or under a safe roof to avoid utter destruction. Eliana was too hesitant to go outside without hearing the loud lightning so Rosalie let her stay inside. It was an odd thing. A vampire afraid of storms. Still, her sensitive ears were giving it away as a valuable reason to stay indoors to avoid being distraught.

Carlisle was at work, overloaded with his job and patients to consult and Esme was somewhere in the house, probably in her and Carlisle's shared room.

"Not there! The roof isn't even covering most of the decorations - it'll flood the entire floor, genius." Eliana could be seen stiffling a laugh behind her book, overhearing Rosalie's banter with Emmett.

"It's not even raining that hard, Rosie -"

"Oh, man, you don't want to go there."

"- Don't call me that. Just move the. . ."

Their argument grew more stupidly heated and childish with Emmett teasing Rosalie and Rosalie slapping his arm to stop. Alice huffs, standing up and Eliana looks up at her figure that was stomping, seemed mad. Now Eliana shook her head, smiling to herself knowing Emmett and Rosalie would get yelled at again. Maybe Jasper too if Alice was in a foul mood.

Alone, Eliana leans her back on the couch and rests the open book by her stomach, leaning her head aback with closed eyes. Very little rain rolls down the glass windows surrounding the living room, living up to the expectations of the weather here in Forks.

A glass shatters just as the moment a thunder struck, causing Eliana to jump to sit down and her eyes absentmindedly stares outside the window, her mind had forced her to relive memories which was hers. It was painful at first, her head ached badly than she imagined. Starting with how she was ripped away from her father by her mother. Eliana remembers how much she loathes that woman with all her heart.
